Do you like to play mtt or cash games?

I really like playing cash games because I don't have time to play the 6 or 7-hour tournaments that take you to play MTT. So my best option is to play cash tables in sessions of just 2 or 3 hours.

I use to play freeroll tournament and S&G also tables. That's my choice which i love to play. Tournaments because of bigger winning for 1st places and S&G because of quick posibilty of winning a cash and tables because love to play this. I don't have one type of game which i prefer.

It comes down to how much time I have to play. If it's an hour or two then it's easier to play cash. If I know that there are a few hours spare then I can play MTT and hope to run deep and win it.

I tend to play MTT over the weekend when I have more time.

Definitely MTT. Cash game is very mechanical.

I can't imagine anyone believing it's fun to play cash games, they play because they want to make money.

MTT is different, it's very exciting.

I believe it is just the complete opposite of this ^

It is not unusual for an online professional MTT player to go on a 100 or 200 buyin downswing. (I'm referring to some very good players when I say this).

MTT play is known for high variance.

I agree. And I think that many who 'don't like cash games' & are posting in this thread aren't winning cash game players.

Years ago I thought cash games were boring. I played mostly MTTs for the first 5 years.
