Way to many horror stories of drinking and playing. I think this is a first positive outcome. What you should take from it is you need to be more aggressive sober,but its a fine line.

I agree with general consensus, drinking isn't a good idea if you are playing a serious game. If you're playing a low level buyin with your buddies and view it as more of a social thing, by all means...I'd be right there with ya. Anything online or any game that I'm looking solely to make money...alcohol is not part of a winning equation.

I like to play poker and drink at the same time when I don't care whether I win or lose. If I care than I don't drink. That's just me though. Maybe it works for some people out there but for myself personally it's a gigantic no go!!!

Few months ago, I had a very unique experience, I start playing sit n go tournaments, like everyday, while drinking some beers and then taking some wiskey shots, I ended up losing everyting and I had only $50 bucks on my account, and because i was really drunk, i registered the $50 sit and go knockout, I ended up wining all the bounties and the prizepool to something like $300.

Drinking while playing make me very agressive, its like i want to win each hand, is this the same to you, or you can manage that situation?

You just opened up a can of worms for me haha. Memories, deeply hidden behind sorrow and shame in my subconscious.

Drinking is an absolute no-go. I do my best to prey on people who are drinking in live tournaments. Absolutely love buying shots for opponents in hopes that they're gonna ship it all.

But I have had my fair share of days where I feel like drinking a couple of beers and have some vodka sodas. Wake up with not much of a bankroll at all.

It's never been beneficial for me. Up with hope! Down with dope.
