Belgo how many 6 max tables do you play at 100 and 200. I take it you play 6 right?

It depends on my mood. Usually I tile 6 tables. But sometimes I want to focus on my reads better and then I go down to 4. And sometimes I just want to mash buttons and so I'll cascade and then I can play up to 13 or 14 tables of 6max. Mashing buttons is fun from time to time, but i only do that at 100nl, not 200... :)

Also, when I want to play 6 tables, I often start by joining 9 and then close the 3 less promissing ones after a few hands.

HEM table scanner, filtered for 0 or 1 person in the waiting list and high average vpip. Then I decide whether to stay at the table depending on where i get to sit, how deep the fish(es) are, if the regs i know at the table are good or spewy, ... But tbh, at 6max, as long as there is one fish at the table, it should be good enough to guarantee playing there is +EV.

Yeah sounds like an interesting approach Belgo, i'm glad you asked Jurn lol.

Last nights session was an epic one.

The second drop to -3 buy-ins was so demoralising as I was tired and just wanted to go to sleep lol. Still i'm glad I ended up evenish. As soon as I won that last big hand I started closing down tables.

I know C9 said he wouldn't mind sweating people by looking over HEM hand historys so if that's still the case let me know and i'll figure out how to ship them (or anyone else if you're interested). I would PM you but I don't wanna harass anyone . I really need to figure out if i'm playing very bad or it's variance or if i'm a break even player.

Thanks.

I should try and get some action on that then :p

Just finished a short half hour 450 hand session ending up +3.5 buy-ins but being up +5.5 at one point I can be a little bit annoyed right?

I did run pretty damn good too with me only spewing once pre-flop against a guy who seemed to always raise me in the sb unopened. He had 99.

Let the run good continue after I have a snack/break.

Another good session, though I had to leave (parents) a super juicy table with a 43/28/3 super fish with 500bb (yes 500) directly to my right and others. Still can't complain too much as the day is +6.5.

One of those very tough spots...

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (5 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

MP ($4.21)
Button ($4.49)
SB ($3.75)
Hero (BB) ($10.15)
UTG ($8.86)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q
spade.gif
, Q
club.gif

UTG bets $0.30, 1 fold, Button calls $0.30, 1 fold, Hero raises to $1, UTG calls $0.70, 1 fold

Flop: ($2.35) K
spade.gif
, 4
club.gif
, 2
diamond.gif
(2 players)
Hero bets $1.80, UTG raises to $3.60, Hero calls $1.80

Turn: ($9.55) 2

(2 players)
Hero bets $5.55 (All-In), UTG calls $4.26 (All-In)

River: ($18.07) J
diamond.gif
(2 players, 2 all-in)

Total pot: $18.07 | Rake: $1.20

Completely villain dependent (he was a complete spewtard).

UTG ($22.07)
MP ($10.32)
CO ($15.96)
Hero (Button) ($21.62)
SB ($6.15)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 8
club.gif
, J

2 folds, CO bets $0.47, Hero raises to $1.40, SB calls $1.35, 1 fold, CO calls $0.93

Flop: ($4.42) 8

SB bets $4.73 (All-In), 1 fold, Hero calls $4.73

River: ($13.88) 2

wtf?

Why are you playing a donkament? That's more puzzling than his line imo.

So I've decided to up my grinding tables to 6 and see how that goes, and the first true 6 table session went well. Gotta love the variance in limit:

I'd keep doing it Johnny.

Here's my comedy hand to end my session.

Obviously I folded.
Obviously it would have been the best hand.

exactly, I'm rolled for 2/4

It's a small problem I have, I lose a bit, get pissed off, say screw it, and play higher to make it back.

So far it has worked, but I know it won't for much longer.

Thats actually a pretty big problem. What happens when your spell at 2knl ends badly? You might end up at 5knl table and it just gets worse.
