At 50nl, theres a bet, and then 3 bet to $10. Fish01 calls the $10 3bet with....

of course I flop TPTK with AK, he chases a flush and hits.

Then a fellow calls my PF 5xbb bet with Q7o, I of course have KK. Flop is Q high and hell if he's folding now !
Turns a 7 and wipes me out.

I flop top 2, Fish02 calls me down with bottom pair and an Ace. Hits the ace on the river for a huge pot.

I throw hat across the room.

Then I go completely card dead except for the exceedingly rare flop that I actually hit, and every time the other guy hits a set.

Is this a new install of Vista, FP? I've been running Vista and HEM with not problems for some time, but haven't installed the latest Vista updates.

he never folded to anything at all preflop nor on the flop and raised about 1/3 flops and fired the turn most times. At the top of his range everytime i had somewhat of a hand (which was almost never) and whenever i tried to bluff/semi bluff. he also raised basically 100% of A44 588 boards etc, if you are wondering the logic behind the FD turn shove. And the JJ 3B pot was meh, but again he never folded to a flop bet so i was giving him a chance to float (which he would do alot) and i can't exactly fold when an A comes on board given his tendency to bluff/way i played the hand. he also fired basically 100% of turns when flop went c/c. I honestly cannot make a hand to save my life.

Try not to let it get to you Feitr. Every good player has giant downswings that stick out in their memory. Maybe this is just the way the "good player circle" likes to haze new members. Use the downswing to do some serious studying, regain some confidence in your game, and then get back to it.

We want a picture of this new laptop Mr. ChuckTs. I've spent the last few days writing up an article about Stox Poker, watching stox articles, working, and sorting through Hand Histories.

Why? You ask why ...

Well... well well well. I've made a major decision regarding my poker future. I'm giving myself December to "experiment" but I'm going to try another 6max-only month. For those of you that remember I did this when just leaving the 25nl level with banner results (5.7ptbb/100) despite some beats/etc (I remember writing I thought 9ptbb/100 was a realistic winrate at 25nl and still believe it).

The reasons to move to 6max:

1) I have a huge roll for 50nl so jumping into 6max at 50nl should be fine in terms of BRM.

2) The resources available in terms of players here at CardsChat, videos at Stox, and coaches around various forums is vast for 6max.

3) I've always wanted to end up at 6max long term. It's a more enjoyable and fun game, obviously more variance and dangerous, but a greater possibility of winrates.

4) Because it makes me excited to play.

So, I'll let everyone know how it goes. I just hope to play my best. Been filling my head with 6max videos before I start on the December 6max Adventure.
