i don't know why but i am enjoying just tournaments. maybe because it is more complex and the ROI in the long run can be very profitable if you play well.

I usually have less then an hour of play time. So cash table's it is most of the time. A tournament is more fun though, excitement.

Tournaments!

I think cashgames are more gambling and unpredictable. In tournament your acquired skills decide of win and give you more pleasure of the game.

I agree.
I prefer some strategy over flipping.
Cash only if I have several minutes to play.

Honestly, I think cash games are "easier". In a profitability aspect.

Not necessarily more intermediate or simpler but think about it this way.
If you were brand new to poker. You learned the basic rules at 11 am and started playing at noon. Which game would you have a higher chance at making $$$??
I'd have to say cash game
While less volatile, could you legitimately see a 1st time player winning a 35 person tournament? Very unlikely.
Cash games give a new player a slightly better chance at winning or breaking even

In my opinion

I love tournaments because of the big prizes for the first places. In a cash game it is almost impossible to win 100 buy ins during a session. However, it is annoying after long hours of play to lose on the bubble.

I used to love zoom cash games but then switched to MTT. And MTT me have reached more. In the Cache is very simple and you can quickly drain your bankroll, but in MTT if you follow the bankroll management, you can stay in the game for a long time.

I play only MTT`s, no cash games. There is a big difference between these two types. In cash game goes monotone, you can not know how much you can lose or win. But in tourneys is other situation, often you have to play with marginal hands to stay alive, you can pressure on opponents with your stack. MTT`s for me are more interesting.
Same here. Just much less pressure playing low buy-in tournaments. Largest score was a $3 re-buy ($4100) on poker stars years ago. Have managed to stay in the 98-99 percentile playing these low buy-ins. Comfortable fit for me. :)

I like playing tournaments the most, infact, I rarely play cash games. It's too easy to lose too much, too quickly.

tournaments are more interesting for me, but there is a large variance, so the bankroll is better to gain in cash

I prefer tourneys and generally play more tournaments but Cash games are fun as well. I play tournaments more because I tend to do better in them. Its a different style that suits me better.

I prefer cash games or Sit and Go. MTT encourage me as long as the number of players is not too much in relation to the prizes to be awarded. The MTT of 200 to 300 players for a prize of 500 dollars for example.

No limit hold'em. $ 20/40 for $ 1,500. And so played at $ 5/10

I prefer cash and it is more profitable for me. The variance in tourney is way too much for me. I try not to play more than 3 tourneys per week. Good luck

Tournaments or Cash

When low on cash, tourneys have assisted me to get a bigger cash amount; I then produce and muster a bucket full of patience and focus on the "In-The-Pay" then the aggression begins. Keep in mind that your strategy shifts with the aggression and players cannot make heads or tails of your angle. Good luck and God Bless you.

I like tournament play because it is a challenge to get through the large field of players and come out on top and even if you play your A+ game you still may not cash. That is the challenge of The tournament I know it is crazy but it is fun at the same time. There is a real Oppurtunity there to add some nice money to your bankroll if you run deep into the tournament as well and make the final table or win the tournament so that is another factor in playing in tournament as well. That is why I l like tournament play so much.
