I like the MTT more, I was a lot of time the winner of a freeroll, but my bankroll is still too small to play seriously good MTT.
I also like the SNG like Double or Nothing. They are good for some easy cash, but not that interesting.
My goal is to win just once a big tournement.

Cash for me. I think it's just more interesting, there is more real play involved and more dynamic between players.
Like burgdogky above mentioned, MTT's can get very disappointing although can be a lot more rewarding when you run deep (this part is more fun than cash :D) Variance can be unreal also.

Every day of the week it is MTT's for me. I do not often play cash games and when I do it is usually just to boost my points to achieve a bonus or maintain my rewards level.

Of course MTT's.
I cant win money playing cash games. Few days ago I played 0.01/0.02 cash game, I bought in 0.40, after little time I had already $2.5, but then did stupid call (about $0.70) and then I start to play very aggressive to get my money back, but after few hands my stack was already under $0.40.
So MTT's + is that you don't need to play with real money, you buy in and get chips, thats a lot of easier to play with chips than money.

Well, I have never quite understood this logic.
Isn't buying in for 0.40$ at cash table the same as buying in for 0.40$ in a tournament? The value is the same - if you lose all the chips at any of them, you have lost 0.40$.

Wow I was surprised to see the difference between MTT and Cash!? I love being able to get a 10min fix of cash if I only have a few minutes to play, but I'm being drawn to MTT more and more simply because TV makes it seem so exciting.

Def mtt, I like them for the rush of getting a nice score in a short amount of time, also just so much fun.

I prefer MTTs mostly because I don't do so well in cash games, at least not regularly enough to make me want to play them.

The only thing with MTTs is the length of time it takes especially if you bubble :) . Somehow it doesn't seem quite so long when you go deep.

I love em both but prefer cash because it doesn't end and goes on forever as poker should. But eventually you have to quit which I never do until I can't play anymore due to lack of funds and luck :)

I prefer playing mtt, teaches you to be patient and you get a good feeling when you win a flip while your deep stacked. Plus there are better payouts. When I playing cash games even when I get a huge profit off the max buy in, I still don't know when to get up, until I loose.

I did like cash, or thought I did, but sitting at the micros with six nits, a maniac, and people constantly sitting in and out of games changed my mind. And I have so much more practice at MTTs now.

I like more the mtt because they have more emotion and obviously it has a higher prize money, although the sit and go are a few people but it is a quieter game

I like playing cash. I like that you can stop playing whenever you want. However I would like to start playing tournaments but they seem really boring. I have played a few years back. I need to read some books to get back to the tourny mind set.

I enjoy both.

Cash is nice that you can play, stop, resume and just go around your own schedule.

Tournaments I prefer more however because the thrill of elimination and only one remains is what I like.

I feel that tournaments are WAY more stressful and tilting however. You can play 10 hours and bubble and get nothing. But, if you make it far enough, the payouts is 1000x more than youll make in a cash game.

I think cash games have more tilt due to you can lose much more than you planned.

Depends on my mood. I'm normally a cash game player, but when I have a couple hours to set aside I will play a weekend tournament (normally with a cash game right next to it, lol)

As has been stated before, it's so much easier to be a steady winner playing cash games, as opposed to grinding tourneys and trying to finish in the money (top 10%), and then eventually trying to reach the final table, where all the big payouts are. Just my opinion though.

Both are good, but its better to play only 1 type till u get so good at it, that u get bored from making that much money.
