I like how everyone who beat you was a fish. I understand this is a frustrating game but don't blame everyone else. I think you don't appreciate how random (how much variance) poker is and that is your problem. It sounds like you push too much when you miss the flop and overplay top pair. BTW 77 games played is not very much to build a track record on. My database showed a median profit over 3,000 hands before I blew up.
no, everyone who beat me is not a fish, just the guy who called a huge raise with 64 and minibet (2 cents) when he hit trips. if that isnt being a fish then what is.
there was one hand where i DID get my
bluff and lost a considerable amount, but i think it was more because he hit 2 pair on the river than because he knew what i was up to, but what im saying is I lost all my money when I actually had my real
hands, which is what frustrated me. I even tried to bet a bit higher on the turn in one case, but the guy HAD to call. well wouldnt you know it, only one card needed for a straight, and only one for a flush, and well i'm there sitting with 2 pair. same with the guy who raised with a gutter and then hit it on the next card... its just frustrating, and not exactly great poker thats winning. i'm winning less than 20% of showdowns, and its not cause I'm a calling machine or needlessly toss chips in the middle on the river. it's cause im getting outdrawn on the hands i want to take to the bank, and not because im slow playing them.
