Bankroll and freeroll

My goal is to build a bankroll without making a deposit. Even if win enough to start playing .01/.02 and move up from there. The freerolls allow me to work on my game for no investment which is why this site is so awesome. Can't beat free information and free poker.

most of the freerolls i have played on only pay out 10 spots out of 50 people.. its hard to win i have finished in the top 20 multiple times which equals no money. kinda of a waste of time with so many people:confused:

It has already been said, but it can be done. It is a very long hard road to get through. Patience and bankroll management are the keys. That and play the Cards Chat freerolls. I have built a little extra on my sites through those freerolls. I will say it again though. It's all about patience and bankroll management. Without this you will just piss your winnings away on a bad run of cards.

My Bankroll grew by more than 300% yesterday!!! I reached the final table of the CardsChat Freeroll on PokerStars and cashed $2.50 for 8th place.

I guess, with enough time, skill, and luck, you can build a bankroll on Freerolls.

I do not know if you can make money only with freeroll you can even earn more It will take time because the tournaments are long and you would need a whole day to gather something while you win the first few amounts with the freerolls you can play in several options that will give you fast returns as tournaments of 9 to 10 people or up to 36 people that will give you some quick win to play low value cash games, sit n go from 0.40 to 1U $ is another good option

My first deposit was $ 10, then I stuffed up to $ 50 in the game and all merged, I do not make enough deposits last time, but if I do that I throw at $ 10, basically I play fireballs, at the moment I have a small skid of $ 100

Given the amount of rewards for prizes, it is almost impossible.

Spending so much time in order to earn the minimum money does not make sense to create a bankroll.

This can be an auxiliary activity when you play the cache, and in parallel the game is opened on freeroll solos

Right now, all the problem is, that there are no enough freerolls. For example, usually you can,t find any good freeroll on pokerstars, you can see lots of freerolls on 888, that running daily, but if you want to participate in them, you need to be active, doing different tasks and you will need to deposit at least something.

I do believe that one can build a bankroll playing freeroll. But you have to be patient and go little by little ... it is also important to try to play the freeroll where so many players do not participate

As someone with experience raising my ACR bankroll from $0 to $5k USD, this is what I did.

Play all freerolls. It's free money.
There is a leaderboard for the $10 freerolls on ACR. Top 10 get a $55 satty to the $1k cage. I've gotten into the $1k cage twice; no cash the first time, but a 3.8k score the second time.
Top 1 on the leaderboard also gets $215 Sunday Ticket, usually for the 50k GTD they have later on Sunday. I never cashed on those.


When it comes to buying into tournaments, follow some simple bankroll management rules.
When you have 100x the buyin, you can buy in.
When you have 5x the GTD, it's not worth buying in.
If the GTD to buy in ratio is less than 150, it's not worth buying in.

about my bankroll

me i have finish in the top ten in the ten dollar free roll.was able to get into some small tourneys. but really did not get enough money in my bank roll to get into a higher but it is hard. the micro tourney most of the people will keep going all in every hand until they double or triple up. and i play tight has much has i can.

it is possible but takes so much time, just win i some freeroll, win about 5$ and play 0,2 cents games ;)

2 weeks ago I did not have a cent, I played casino org on pokerstars and took the 4-place, I got $ 4, during the day I raised to $ 10, then I lost everything


The main rule - if you have raised the money, take a break at least 1 day

Of course it's possible, but even playing freerolls you have to be disciplined and practice bankroll management. You should grind freerolls just like any other tourney (i.e. play as many as you can a day).You can grind freerolls until your roll is $50 and then play micro mtt's ($1 or less) or SnGs, and then go from there. Don't start playing cash games with less than 50 buy-ins.
