Exactly how i feel about online poker and how i feel about live poker. Also OP i gotta say i was the same way for the longest time. Then i realized theirs more to life then poker. I started winning more often and could think more clearly about my game after taking time away from poker and just a much more happier person.

God I remember those long days and nights in front of my computer and when my wife got up to go to work I would go to bed and do the same thing the next day. And it took it's toll on us all. I play poker almost every day, but I'm not a slave to it anymore. I play when I feel good and when I do it like that I play pretty good, and that is all I want out of it, to play good and not let the rest of it drag me down. I've got it down to no more than 5 hours a day and many of those days are less than that.

I also love to play in online casino. But I took a small break sometime, only when I need it the most. Otherwise, I play continuously.

Indeed it is necessary from time to time to take a break. Especially when it goes bad batch. Then I can not think rationally and real stupid moves.

I vented and logged off about an hour ago when my A10 hand was beaten by someone that chased the flush all the way to river with A2 suited. An ace hit the flop.. and he/she got runner runner flush.

This was a cash game, and I tried to chase him/her off the pot with high pot sized bets and villain would CALL every street. (The flop was rainbow of course)

People say that you want to play with fish/donks because it's free money, but it's frustrating because you have to adjust to their dumb play. Then when the donk/fish scores a big hit in a cash game they usually just leave the table to save face. Only option I have is to play in position & play really tight premium hands bet ridiculous sized bets to scare calling stations off the pot. Frustrating but that's poker! :(

I am pretty new with this kind of game. I also have been playing long hours of online poker and even drowsing during games and usually been able wake-up when the games were over, lol.

when ever you feel like that best answer is to give a break of it............just clear your head, and when you'll come back all that darkness will be gone.

Time away from the game, even a couple of days is necessary for your long term profitability. You need time to rest your brain. Its like working out, if you went to the gym everyday eventually your body would break down from not having the time to repair itself. IMO it is the same with your brain.

For me it got real bad.
It become like ground hog day the same situations over and over again, I really dont think
I want to play full time, I think playing part time their is a better EV because im fresher and I enjoy the game more.

Also to be realistic I need to make 75,000 usd a year to hit what I would be making working in GBP annually
in fact im pretty sure if I put all my time and poker energy into business I would become a millionaire and still have a life thats the crazy thing.

I don't recommend online poker to anyone chasing the flash lifestyle and the 6 figure bank accounts.
If you want it bad enough I assure you, you could come up with a product, service or business idea to make you that in due course
