I've been playing on pokerstars for about a year and i've had a couple high place finishes, but it always seems like I am the low stack. Sometimes i try to stick with just the top hands and sometimes i try and take more of a small ball approach but always just seems to dwindle my chip stack faster. Most of the time it seems like only the reckless stupid plays get rewarded. It just seems like unless u play reckless and get lucky your going to lose, and if u don't play aggressive you're going to lose anyways. I would just like some advice on maybe what to do, been getting beat by bad beat after bad beat for around a month and its really getting old.
Thanks.

LOL welcome to the world of micro donkaments. There's really not much you can do except play solid basic poker IMO.

The thing is, at that level, I believe trying to outlast/out play ALL the meatheads that are playing, you have about the same odds as hitting a lotto jackpot. LOL

The only real advise I can give is to try and pay attention to the players on you left as much as possible. If you can peg a couple of them for being too tight or weak, go after their blinds as much as possible. That and stay away from the big stacks unless you have premium hands. GL

I frequently notice people trying to do this do me if I'm playing tight, I start raising them with garbage to protect my blinds and they end up tilting if I show... this might not work out if you tilt easily
