no i havent read a thread about this guy yet. Everybody always talks about ferguson and how he turned nothing into 10k. I think that this might be as good as that

this all took an interesting turn yesterday: After tulina83 had lost the extra 40k to cts, he announced that he would no longer play 25/50- since he had made the request to withdraw the 50k and was only with 5k or smt.

But people had seen him play 25/50 that night. And yesterday, he claimed that didn't play- that wasn't him and he didn't know anything about it! Then when playing on 1/2 tables himself, he was suddenly kicked off for a min from his seat and came back saying "wtf just happened", his opponent said "I don't know". They played for couple of min more and he quit.

Later yesterday his account was frozen by fulltilt, telling they were doing an investigation, not saying why.

Either tulina83 had done something, or his account was hacked; or this is another case of fulltilt fckin up.

insane story. Amazing on-line poker rush. I have a good one for myself, but it pales in comparison, and it's really a different scenario. I turned $50 into a little over 3500 in one day at the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles. But that involved hitting part of a bad beat jackpot, and some decent grinding all afternoon. No jackpot...and I would never have won anything near that much.

update: now tulina83 claims that he didn't even play cts himself! and fulltilt tells him that the transaction never went thru and his account balance is now sitting around 1k!

his account is still frozen for investigation. all I can say is: ouch!

Will it be Shocking or Shockingly Predictable if all his money vanishes and his account gets locked?

1.) why would his money vanish?

2.) how would his money vanish? (besides him withdrawing it)

3.) why would his account get locked?

obviously as the time being, his account seems to be hacked and all the money gone to cts.

Why is his account frozen now and why is the 50K gone with the transaction not processed?

Unless he's lying about it all. /shrug

Could he be a cheat like UB and Absolute had a few years ago where a programmer could see the hole cards?? Hmmm...Kind of makes you wonder. Then again he could be just a really good player

This is the more likely story IMO from a 2+2 post:

do you not check your cashier before you play?

I'm thinking it went:

run the 100 up to ~60k

try to cash out~50k

they said you can't do it without sending some stuff in

the degen inside you can't wait that long so you kept playing anyway and lost most of it to CTS and others

countdown to busto if not already anyone?

I think that's also possible. BUT I don't think the story adds up to where Tulina blew the money himself, and lied about it being hacked because of degen remorse. If I was him, I would rather not come back to 2+2 at all- I wouldn't have the face and the energy to do so. Plus why would ftp freeze an account when a degen makes them money?

It all seems weird and incomplete right now.

But either he blew the money himself, or it was hacked- I do believe the money is gone either way and that's sad itself.

here's the latest news: neither tulina tilted off the money or got hacked. His 50k withdrawal is in process. Happy ending!

here's the email sent to him by fulltilt:

It's great he got the initial $53,000 out. It's still pretty strange FT couldn't find any conclusive evidence of his account being hacked when he says he never played Cole South and someone was on his account saying "tulina83: this mofo is almost out of funds.....stupid bastard has &&%% withdrawing......i want to play more".
