Worst day for me playing cash games

So, I was playing low stakes cash games. I got dealt strong hands like QQ, AK right off the bat. I noticed I had many limpers in my table, so I went all in with these hands. And low and behold, they have AA or KK. I always got second best hand and opponent somehow always had best hands. I already lost more than few hands that way. I thought that's fine, they won't always have best hand and then I got dealt hands like AA and I went all in thinking what could go wrong with these hands. Nope, opponent has 9J and the flop comes 99K. Like this way, the flop kept screwing me over many times. I played for over an hour and am in a losing streak. Not a good day for me FML.

Oh yes, running cold. When I have one of these starts to a poker session I leave that site and try another site I have an account with. And if I'm running cold there too, then it is outside I go for some other activity. Back to poker tomorrow...

It happens to all of us. Now the way you deal with your emotions or adversity that makes the difference. Take a break if necessary! Keep calm and stay strong.

Poker is a double edged sword, and sometimes you gotta tank those crappy cold deck hands and take a break, and come back and play strong. Patience will make you a winning player.

Of course I’ve had similar day they definitely happen it’s poker.

Every player has such days and on such days the best option is a break. In poker, as in life, there are ups and downs, but the main thing is to continue to go to the goal and not be upset by temporary difficulties.

I agree with many that have posted. Just hang in there! Sometimes you have to weed through the "unlucky" hands, but it is how the skilled hands are played that reap you the biggest rewards. Using betting strategies in your favor when ahead in the hand and getting people to call when they have no chance to win is how stacks are built. Remember there is usually only one winner with each hand unless a tie sneaks in. I would rather build a large slow stack than go all-in three times and hit one out of three. I wish you the best in your poker endeavor and hope you continue to learn with each and every hand.

How familiar to me, in such situations, I just finish with poker for the day and go for a walk or do something else.
