This is how i started.. i deposited the minimum at PS and started playing 1/2 cent cash games and penny($1)MTTs.. be careful to jump up to the next level , do so only if you are confident you can step up. Positive ROI and more confidence in your game...

look under the private tab in full tilt tournaments and there are loads of freerolls with roughly 25-50 dollar prizepools, with much smaller fields than the 2700 $100 freerolls.

there is information of where to go for the passwords most of the time

good luck

Go on to Google and look up "free poker money" and there are a couple of websites that will give you a few free dollars (some as much as $100) that I have used in the past. Just make sure that you use an email account that you dont care about because you will get a ton of spam from them.

bankroll tips

well my bankroll tip is just start playing aka grinding the lower end games like 6 handed 1.20 or 2.25 sit n go s.even if you start with like 20 or 30 bucks the games are cheap enoughto play whatever style you want and sometimes make the hard calls without ever worriing about the money. you win a few of them and you bump up to the 2.25 games and so on and so on . this takes time but the main thing i think i important the higher you go you r seem to go at a slow pace and you get used to the limits in whichyou play and you also learn to not let your game be effected by a possible loss because as you slowly build if you lose a few it doesnt hurt whatso ever. which i think is a very big thing in poker is to not be scared to lose or put all the money in with a hand and possibly lose. the more you play these games and grind up and get used to the limits your play opens up due to your lack of fear of the monitary loss. onc eyour not scare in the slightest to lose a game or to you can really feel better and open up the game you want to play. you can stand to lose a few in a row and its no big deal. i deposited 20 bucks on tilt on have been playing on it for over a year or 2 . i grind up to a few hundred or so sell off some to friends who need it or with draw and repeat. i am building up th not caring or letting higher limits efeect how i play. as the old adage says...scared money is dead money. so the mor eyou get comfotable with the limits as yu increase you are losing the scared money stigma and your game and bakroll are surely to go up and inmprove..

Seriously, i had 0$ once on pokerstars. I placed in top 99 advanced to 2nd round finished 70th give or take a few. Won like 3$ I played some 1.25$ singles, built it to about 11$ played a 4.40$, my first one i played, i won! 180 player tourney! i won i think 225$ give or take a few, i built it even more! 275$ then one day, i went crazy, i kept getting bad beats, i got down to 180$ and that pissed me off ALOT! so i played 50$+2$ single 1v1. and i lost 3 straight! down to 30$ and i played 3 10$ tourneys, didnt place once!!!!!!!! all in about 4-5 hours i lost all 275$ I have not won a penny since! been like 2 months, i cant place in a freeroll. It is EXTREMELY hard to start up a bankroll, i cant do it anymore, toooooo hard.

Well this guy is giving you terrible advice. First of all he has no bankroll management. and spent all of his money on games he could not afford. I dont feel sorry for him at all. "Its also extremely easy to waste 275 playing games above your pay grade and probably skill."

Actually a good old thread bump. I still say eBay is a great way to start a bankroll. Sell your old stuff and play poker with the $$$.

I'd wait until you actually filed the lawsuit, and got the judgment in hand, which can easily take years. Then, if you actually get this check from BP, I'd stay as far away from a casino as possible. gambling is not a wise investment strategy. You'll blow through that money playing blackjack, no matter how good a card counter you think you are.

Whats the best way to start a bankroll?

If you are broke, ask a friend to stake you or if you play online then free-roll grind.
