Im just wondering what everyones br is or what limits they play at.

I usually play micro 1-2$ limits as my BR is only about 600

Also im wondering if someone should move up to higher limits if they have continued success at the lower limits/

I have a $300 bankroll, and play 10NL, but I am mostly a SNG player anyways. When I do play 10NL, I am normally a losing player. :(

My BR size always changes cuz I often have to withdraw money. Right now I'm at $50 but a few weeks ago I had $8000. Had to make some withdrawals to pay off a balance I had with my university, get money for books (books alone this semester costed me about $300), ect.

Its weird i usually make about 400 dollars in a few hours at the 1-2$ limits then just as easily lose about 200 dollars at the 3-6$ limit tables.

I think i need to adjust the way i play as i move up in limits.

Usually ill play tight at the lower limits because most players arent concerned with your play at these limits.

All their focusing on is their own hands so when you get a solid hand their unable to tell weather or not your bluffing and most of them will call.

If you're making $400 in a few hours, why would you ever go up? Unless "a few" is more than 4, you're making $100+/hour. If you worked a 40-hour week at 50 weeks a year, that's $200k+/year. That's a lot of money in case you don't know.

Right now about $2500 split between bodog and Stars

Taking it out of Bodog though and either putting it into Stars or might try Full Tilt.

I should make Goldstar at stars though this month...can't decide which site to stick with. Might have to go to FT long enough to clear a bonus at least lol.

Well i was giving an average figure. I mean I'll make that amount one day at one table then maybe half of it the next and perhaps more the day after.

And then i might lose 100 at the next table.

The thing with poker is nothing is absolute because for all i know i might never win a pot again.

But my main reason for wanting to move up limits is the quality of play.
I get better games at higher limits but of course the risk is also higher.

So you play poker for quality of play? Interesting. I play to win $$ and if I was beating $1-2 and losing at $3-6, I know what I would be playing.

~$600 at Bodog and a little over $200 at FT

Better quality of play inherently means better players. There's a poker saying that's basically says that it does you no good to be the 9th best poker player in the world if the top 8 players in the world are sitting at the table with you.

^^^This. And then you dabble a bit in 3/6 to get experience and adjust. But stick to where you're doing well to get your bread and butter.

I have $5000 across my 4 main sites (Titan, Victor Chandler, Bodog, Absolute), and about another $1000 in bits and pieces across several others.

I am mainly playing tournaments at the moment, $10-$20 Freezeouts and $5-$10 Rebuys. When I play the odd ring game, it is usually $50 NL.

My online BR is 0.03 cents but my live cash game BR is $1600, I usually play 2/5 NL or 5/5 NL. I just can't stay focus while I'm on the computer to play well.

Spread around, in the $250 range. But at each site my br management is separate. Biggest at the moment is stars a bit over $100.
