With such a bankroll, I would only play in the SnG tournaments with a buy-in of $ 0.50. But I would not recommend playing cash games.

I think you need to play the SNG for 45 and 90 people at 0.25
Then 0.5 and so on

Play the smallest tournaments or SitNGo with the smallest buy-in. You have to have patience when you pay so little, because you can not get rich overnight, but it takes a lot of time to make the success come and only smart. Believe in yourself and after a while with a certain tactic, you can build a bigger bankroll. Good luck!

freerolls that have good value for add-ons, micro stakes in cash games, $1-$3 SnG, and last should be micro MTT. Those are a grind but the payoff is decent.

Everyone has given good advice here. Whenever you have a lump of Cash, regardless of size, you should be thinking about bankroll management. For me $25 is not really enough for Cash games. It's only 12 Buyins at NL2 which is very low. I'd say you're good for $0.50 SNGs and maybe $0.25 MTTs. I'd wait till $60 before playing NL2 cash.

everything is about experience. If you are just a begginer then avoid cash games. Just don't play them because you will lose your bankroll so fast. I think best options are sng 45man or 90man 25cents games. It's still better to have 100bi than just only 12.5 in cash games.

This is just me, no bankroll management involved. If I had $25 Each week to spend, I would play a $20 MTT, and use the remaining $3 for smaller stakes. The play is more real at that stake, and the potential as well. If you don't make the cut find another hobby for the rest of the week. It's probably better for you, certainly you spouse.

"$25 to spare every week" - if it's really spare then dont bother you will get your 25 easy back so do what you like. if it's actualy more of a money makiung plan I would dedicate to figuering out what you want to play spins/sngs/mtts/cash.
The advice about building you BR to a level and than playing x is not that good. lets say you beat 25c sngs... spins lets say... and you get to 100 and go 1$ thatn ant 600$ you go 3$ and than you deicide to swithc to cash? why do ou thinkg you wil beat 100bb nl2... ok maybe nl2, but nl5?
So if it's a hobby have fun. if it's something you have a dram about... be more deliberate

If you only have $25 to spare every week would you start by playing .01/.02 and try to build a bank roll to 20 buy in for .02/.05 and than build to 20 buy ins for .05/.10 and so on or would you build 40 buy ins to move up how would you guys do this and has anyone had success doing this thanks

I've had luck on ACR starting with the 55 c and 1 dollar sit n' gos. It's a slow grind to build the bank roll up but it helps preserve your roll. I guess if your into cash games it is about the same as starting with the .01-.02 but you can lose more a lot quicker. Also don't jump up before your ready. I got my roll up to 350 from about 30 on ACR so decided to play some bigger games. I withdrew about 250 and left a little over a hundred in my account. I played in some 11 dollar and bigger games before I was ready and quickly lost the rest of my roll. I'm now starting again from scratch and will not make the same mistake again. Good luck at the tables.

I wouldn't play cash with $25
I would use the first deposit of $25 and play the $0.25 45man and the 90man. If you wish to add the other $25 a week later then you could add the $0.50.

If you don't mind playing the hypers then you could add the $0.50 satty into the $109 sunday milly.

If it was me using $25, I would grind it up and go up in levels as you go, I would only add the other spare $25 if I really needed to.

If you're playing for fun with disposable cash you could play whatever you want. If it's fun to take a shot at a $25 MTT once a week, go for it. Want to do a $5 every night and see what happens, all good.

If you're looking to grind and build a roll, $25 isn't really enough to even play .01/.02 and withstand the swings. You would do better doing $50 every other week. Just sayin'

I would start out with some $1 SNG's and build my bankroll to $50 or $100 than move up to $3 SNGs and build up to $300 to $400 than I would move to $5 SNGs and build up to $500 to $600 and then you'll have a nice bankroll to play with. Than you can start playing your cash games as you wish with proper bankroll management of course that way you will never have to rebuy ever again.

This is great advice that you are giving here. I also have made note of it. Thanks for the help on bankroll management. I will try to use this advice going forward.

if you only have $25 a week ($100 a month) maybe play freerolls, you not well off so maybe it best to save your monies spend where you need and play for free or pretend money places?

Screw that!
If you have an extra $25 a week - you should wait 20 weeks and have $500. Then go to the casino and play 2/5 live - where you can actually make real money.

Cash games at the lower levels are like freerolls.
You can build from this level but you need a lot of poker skill to do so.

I'd play $1 SNGs of 10 people or less. This way you won't have a long streak of losses.

Whether you’re playing tournaments or play in a cash game, start out with $1.25 each. That’s what I’d do.
