Last night, I played the biggest session of ring that I have in months.

12 tabled a 1400+ hand session in exactly 2 hours.

@ 1 point, I was up 3BIs but ended up playin' break even poker after a couple of flopped set coolers.

I really miss it & wish I had more time to do it more often

As you may know I've been playing 50nl etc. over the past month and now I'm back down to 2nl to start a serious grind again. I'm up about 15$ over 6k hands. I just received a lump of rakeback for about $20 from my higher stakes games. This is obv good but is kinda ahhhh as I'm know rolled for 5nl while still enjoying the 2nl "grind". Onwards and upwards I suppose :D

Think its safe to say my return to poker is going well :D Not getting any huge volume, bout an hour a night but thats all i really have the time/energy for, used to think that volume was the be-all and end-all but i dont think id mind playing an hour per night as long as it keeps going like this!

I didn't say I enjoyed it more, I went more or less busto and went down to a 2nl roll. I was just saying I'm enjoying properly grinding again and I've just got a lump of rakeback so I can move up to 5nl. I'll obvs just move up but was enjoying winning my way up to 5nl properly. Lol ignore me :D

Oops, forgot about this thread this month. Guess it's a good thing I'm getting in with only a third of it left...

Last hand of the night tonight. These are the nailbiters that I love, but piss me off at the same time. 67% equity going to the turn scares me... My reason for the small ass CBet is because I had notes on MP1 showing that he loves raising small CBets, so I had the raises planned. I think I probably should have 3Bet a little more, but we got it all in anyways. WV can feel free to toast me on that CB, but I know my reasoning here, unlike past stupid bets ;)

256 hands, coldest deck, some left over tilt from yesterdays cold deck and -$120/hr is born.

Back to 10nl, don't even think I played particularly bad. Some of the hands I tilt paid off villains when they called down with ridiculous shit and hit. But to just get beaten by so much shit... to just have so many two outters hitting back to back in two days. Feels bad man, some of the posts I made in this months thread were slightly arrogant posts, but for once I thought to myself that I might actually be not to bad at this poker thing, that I might actually make a decent player. I'd been thinking on a lot deeper level then I had at 10nl, I'd loosened up, played much better poker imo and my redline went sky high instead of that usual downward sloping bullshit that I'm used too.

I was running 15 buyins below EV last month at 10nl. When that finally began to cool off I managed to make the transition to 25nl. To finally make that goal that I'd had all summer felt great, but now this, EV doesn't look as bad because I kept getting it in on the flop etc, AA vs TT, T on the flop, crap like that. Tbf, I didn't play perfect, but I played good, I played the best I'd ever played imo and it's just so crushing to be back where I started. This time last year I was still messing around in the UK and CC freerolls, it felt good to make it all this way but this... BR is at about 500, and I'm in two minds whether to play a 2buyin stop loss game of 25nl tomorrow or just drop back down. Just so demoralising to lose it like this, to get so unlucky, for every donk with FD/GS to hit...

/rant
felt a bit better putting all that in words, better than kicking and breaking stuff anyway.

I feel for ya bro. Keep on grinding things will turn around.

Um am can All-in ev be an indication I am doing something wrong? or is it just that I am getting really unlucky? See attached graph

Also thread saver (red-heads are the best IMO) for my constant whining. (If this thread savers are a no-no then sorry)

Thread savers like that are welcomed and encouraged!!!!

As for your AIEV line, turn it off! Nothing good can come of it (other than the thread saver). If you're running below EV you'll use it as an excuse and feel bad. If your running over EV you'll be waiting for the rungood to end. The only thing it measures is how you're doing when you get all-in with cards to come. Looks like you're running bad. Keep playing this game and you're guaranteed to run worse. Stop looking at it now!

So my first deposit bonus ran out today at FT and I only managed to unlock $220 of the $600. Such a waste :( Oh well.

Opener is 11/8/2 over a large sample.

Villain is 79/40/4 with a 26% 3bet over ~50 hands (always a min 3bet ftw).

It's nice to flop good.
It's better to play against aggrotards.
