Questions on being pot commited

Just a couple of questions about being pot commited.

What is the true meaning of being pot commited?

What % of our chips should be invested before we are pot commited?

Is being pot commited in a cash game the same as being pot commited in a tournament?

There's no set number, it's just enough so that you have astronomical odds to call, and even if you have A high you have odds to call even if they're bluffing 1 in 100. Varies from hand to hand but basically it means you have enough chips in the pot that you should call an all-in no matter what.

And the concepts in the cash games and tourneys are the same, but it's just that in a tourney you're out of the tourney and in a cash game you just lose x amount of money.
