You said, "you flop trips or better...."
I say: whats better than trips? I don't want to flop anything else with small pairs. I don't want a straight or flush, so what else are you referring to? quads?

Full houses occur a bit more than 0.7% of the time. Altogether, a pocket pair will flop trips, quads, or a boat 1 in every 8.5 times. If you're getting 4 to 1 in a multi way pot, implied odds (the chance of making more postflop with very strong hands) can make this a profitable play especially over players who over value top pair, top kicker-like hands.
