So, I put this in strategy because I wanted some opinions. What I've been doing is playing the $5 and $2 SnG as well as the $10nl games on FullTilt. For the most part I've been doing just fine in the SnG play, but I need to work on heads up as my win rate is pretty woeful once I get heads up. Any advice?

From there, I've been taking some ridicous beats playing the cash games lately. I've also stepped on some land mines too, things like KK vs AA AIPF. But i looked back at the plays and just thought that some were just plain out of this world in terms of thinking from opponents; things like calling a 3x BB raise from MP3 with 10 8 off. I would get killed, then I would get frustrated ... then lose more with my own bad plays.

Then I did the thing that ALL stupid tilty cash game players do when they are frustrated at microstakes. They go to a higher level.

I didn't completely lose my mind, I just went to the $25nl game, the one I used to play before I enacted the bankroll management act of 2008. I actually felt a LOT more comfortable at those tables (I 2 tabled it), and was thinking "man this is a lot more fun". I took some beats, made some solid laydowns, and got great value for my big hands. All in all i bought in for $40 between the two tables and walked away feeling a LOT more confident in my game and a *profit* of over $15!

So - as someone who's not a noob but not a superstar like ChuckTs or Zachvac, am I better off playing the $25nl game considering:

1) I am used to those stakes historically more than I am the lower ones.
2) I had more fun there.
3) I just had a heater there.
4) My bankroll could handle it, it's just not "prime"
