I just played my first live donkament with my uni's poker society. Out at the second blind level obv. Started with 100 chips 1/2 blinds and 20min levels. First rule I've learnt for live players, they give you way too much credit then call anyway.
About 20BB's effective stacks. Couple of limps, I raise to 5bb's OTB with A7, caller to my right, j-x-x checked to me, shove, call with A9, gg.

I hope this is the right place to post this. I was just wondering how many played PLO8 for their cash game? I recently stumbled upon this quiet gem and there's a lot of money to be made. I haven't posted in this thread in a while. The end of August and September sucked on multiple fronts. I wound up blowing all my profits since I rejoined FT in June. But, most of my profit was bonus money anyways, so I realized that I now suck at poker. My biggest leak is simply putting large amounts of money in the pot when I simply have no business doing so.
Since I still have my starting bankroll, I am putting in some serious Rush volume to try to stop overthinking and overplaying hands. So far, the results have been mixed, but I had a great session today. Over 1000 hands, and bankroll up about 10%. It's a good start, but I still have a long way to go. I may look for another site once my bonus period is over.
