Just played for 6 hours 5-handed with 4 whales. Was hu with one then the 5/5 plo game broke and 3 of the plo fish moved over to our game. $75 was the standard preflop open. One hand utg opens $75 co calls I make it $625 on the button with KK both blinds cold call other 2 call as well. Flop=A73r checks around turn=3 checked to utg who bets 1300 co calls I fold as do both blinds river 2 ch/ch utg says I missed co wins showing 75o.

Only question to me is, how did that turn 3 change anyone's hand? Why not throw out a bet to represent your big hand at the end of the post-flop betting round in position? Seems like an obvious spot to bet with KK. I don't think A8+ is slow-playing here, so with your information, why not move on the pot?

Not betting KK on an Ace high flop is super-duper standard. Think about what happens if we do bet. We almost never get called by worse and we never get anything better to fold. If you're betting in spots like this (especially with position) you're throwing away money.

If we're not going to bet an ace-high flop when 3 players check to us on the button, regardless of our cards, why are we raising so much? Leaving your babies in the middle.

I dunno WV, this is against 4 whales. Admittedly, checking back to pot control is fine but if these guys are showing down 75o in this spot I'm less inclined to fold turns

but what do I know, i'm just over here eating my Oreos

Well they were kinda on the passive side and all of them literally have 100% of Ax combos so it's not like I'm super happy with that flop. I was actually debating whether to call turn or not but once the other guy calls I think it's a pretty easy fold. Even though I would have won that hand I think it's kinda being results oriented to say it's a call. Also I did post the most outrageous hand that happened there were some other crazy hands but it's not like that kinda hand was happening every hand more often was just like 75 everyone calls then checked down maybe a 200 bet on the river or so.

the 100% of Ax everywhere makes turn a pretty comfortable fold imo, not to mention all the Ax hands we can take to the felt in our range.

Yeah I agree. I think Zach played the hand 100% correct.
