also, having a panic attack was like the most terrifying feeling ever. for a second, i thought i was going to die right on the floors of the building where i have class.

I had one once in the hospital when I hurt my knee. When there bad enough u feel like ur lips swell up and your tongue and u cant breathe. I honestly thought I was gonna die. I surely hope u feel better brother, and get to a doctor.

pretty much all the reasons imaginable. too much stress at school, financially, family-wise and socially-wise. seems like everything in my life is caving in, not sure how to cope. also vitamin b deficiency?

i should go to a psychiatrist, but i don't know how to go about that in canada (or at least montreal). i tried to go to the doctor right when it set on but apparently i havent updated my health insurance card or whatever and would have had to stand in like for 30 minutes to do that anyways, so i just went home and looked up on how to cope w/ panic attack. gonna try to do some therapeutic stuff like talking to you guise, and then see if i can get back to studying (exam in two days).

I used to have pretty bad anxiety attcks too. THEY SUCK.

I would think I was gonna die. Crazy thoughts. Stuff like.. "I should go die on the porch so someone finds me." Feel like Im gonna pass out.

Caffeine will help you through those times. Did me. I didnt want to be prescribed xanax.

I rarely have them anymore. So I think it happens less as you get older.

Hang in there man. Your life really isnt that bad.

+1

WA/WB

Also that's a pretty large 3bet. Any reason for that?

Aren't 3 bets generally 10% of a stack. maybe a lil larger then normal but I'm usually 3 betting like $1.10 or so at 10NL?

I bet the flop cuz it was checked to me and people are call/folding 3 bets with pocket pairs, etc. to set mine. and if do get called I'll re-evaluate and see what he does on the turn. Generally people don't flat call 3 bets with AK/AA.

Turn brought a 2nd ace, which made it seem less likely he was holding an ace obv and my hand was good like he had a hand like 10s/jjs/qqs that people will generally call a 3 bet with pf.

Am I totally off?

Yes on basically all counts.

I think it's pretty standard to 3bet like 3x the open when IP and maybe 4x OOP. So it this case I make it $.90 - $1. I mean if he's a drooler and will call larger, fine, but against an unknown I like 3x the open amount.

So you bet the flop because you want him to fold worse hands (small pp)?

Since you're not betting for value (to be called by worse) and you're not betting as a bluff because he never folds anything better, it seems like a pretty bad bet to me.

Even if he does call the flop bet with say QQ, do you really think he continues calling on the turn? Once the Ace hits you basically have a 1 street hand against most opponents. So if he checks flop/turn you bet the river. If he bets the turn you call and generally fold to a 2nd bet on the river unless he's a chronic bluffer.

Go read this thread, WA/WB, it's all explained there.
