i have been playing poker for about a year now but only played 6 max. Recently ive been trying to get in to hu, ive been playing sng heads up and been succesfull even though the compertition is pretty easy compared to your 0.25 0.50 hu games. I sat down at a NLHU 50 game and managed to turn over a profit (due to a bit of luck) i dont understand why people call the bets after the flop and turn with nothing, why do people never fold after the flop i dont get it. I would absolutly love anyones help on the subject because its really hard to find anyone with good knowlange on the subject.

the reason they call with air on the flop is because most likely you are making a c-bet plus they have position. most of the times both players will miss the flop when playing heads up, so if you missed and he has position he will call to see what you are going to do on the turn, if you check on the turn odds are he will bet and try to take the pot down.
