i agree from the viewpoint that it is not a good long term move, but i am saying playing the occasional weak starting hand is good for an aggressive and unpredictable image but also it will keep your range more polarized, plus if you have an extremely tight image it is usually easy to see, of course though learning when to be tight and loose is an art form and skill that takes thousands upon thousands of hands to even begin to learn...you can't just nit it up with strong hands thinking your win rate will just come to you, if you can't mix up your game you will be easy to figure out and that's not something good at the poker table

Dont bother with that at the micros, no-one is paying enough attention to make it worth mixing it up with weak starting hands

Mixing up your game is only really applicable at the higher levels. There is no need to play weak hands for deceptive purposes at the stakes that most players play at. Your advice certainly doesn't pertain to this thread.

Edit - ^^ Damn you Micro!

^ this. In the micros, and i know this very well, because i just went through a microchallenge and played a gazillion hands this month trying alot of playing styles. At the end of the day, the style that made me the most money was tight aggressive. sure you can call your suited connectors and your pocket pairs and your occasional KJs but overall play as tight as you can if you want to win money.

We all love calling a 3 bet with 45 suited just to see if we get lucky. But that "if" costs you alot of money in the longrun that its just not worth it.

Hey man. Dont get mad. This is just friendly advice that is well intended. Only reason im sharing it is because it has been "PROVEN" to be the winning recipe. Not just by myself but from the majority of winning players.

Good luck. And keep in mind that all advice given here is only intended to help.:D

What I think Bernotas means is that he set mines OOP in 3Bet pots 50BB deep. Wouldn't surprise me TBH.
