What about this one :hmmmm:

Unknown villain, only had ~20 hands on him. His PF limp suggests fish.

I checked the flop because it's a WA/WB sitation (or does the J make a difference?).

do not cbet the flop, Jx we can get 2 streets of value from on later streets.

He is not aggressive, shown by his limp pre, so c/c flop and re-evaluate turns. I see no reason to bloat the pot OOP here vs a passive villian.

Really good day yesterday, made ~$120 profit taking the bankroll up to $670. My short-term goal is to get the BR over $1000 for the first time.

I've started playing 16nl again...going to start taking shots at 25nl again soon, hopefully this time can manage to stay there! Think it should be fine as long as I avoid tilt/apply stoploss because I was doing pretty well there before.

Graph below is my last 61K hands at 6max:

Been wondering about how to play JJ (and TT) when 3bet preflop. Against an average 3bettor (4-5% PF 3bet stat) it isn't wise to 4bet or shove unless it looks like an obvious squeeze attempt. And folding doesn't seem right either.

Looking at the hand below (CO is 20/18 with 10% 3bet over 64 hands) I can see that calling was likely a mistake because I am OOP. 10% 3bet seems high but sample size is tiny, and he had only actually 3bet 3 times, so 4betting or 4bet shoving was risky, especially with MP still to act.

So, I should fold PF ???

About the JJ hand:
He is a fish - 50/22 (89 hands) with a 37% Foldto3bet (3/8 times)
4bet 100%. CO 3bets a lot and probably a LOT more with the no-foldem fish in the hand. I 4bet and expect fish to call and CO to fold quite often.

vs the fish I see that 4bet is good, but vs CO idk.

4bet smallish then fold if CO shoves? (I know 4bet folding is pretty awful). I really don't like going all in PF with JJ unless I have a good reason, and I don't think I do against this guy. This is the problem I have with JJ when 3bet PF by relative unknown villains.

Unrelated to the original question, as played, what would you do post flop?

Best month ever so far...$285 profit: ~4BB/100 over 25K hands (mix of 10nl and 16nl)

Bankroll is now $830 :D:D gonna start mixing in 25nl tables during peak/fish times

Probably gonna stop my thread now cos I'm not updating it very often :(. Will be posting in the chat thread, the hand analysis thread (need to post more hands) and various other random thread.

BIG thanks to all those who contributed to it and helped me become less of a cash donkey :)
