In cash is it good to go all in with AA in first position?

going all in with aa préflop is always a good decision , but generally you will not have actions when you shove like that , however you can shove like that specially after a bad beat , they will think you are on tilt

Hi
Yea sure they will surely call you and have you beat:):)

Raise enough to make limpers fold but not too much to get everyone folding.

Hello
I would play according to the field.
Your in a cash game, chances are you know the players.
Depending on that you decide if you raise 3-5 BB, you may get called by a 10 J or a 89, or something similar.
It's going to be risky, so best is go All in and win the blinds, rather than get messier in the hand.
My call will be All-In.

Are you trolling or is this a serious question? You don't open shove in cash games , ever!

You may go all in after a 3bet or 4bet.

In tourni its a no brainer. However I doubt you will get action if you suddenly donk your stack.... If the cash game players you play with will bite, I´d say go. If they´d more likely fold to you shoving, then you´re better off 4 betting or sth.

No. You’re deepstacked and should be accepting the 20% variance that comes with that hand. You need to try and get as much value as possible from your big hands.

Are you, and/or the other players deep stacked? Are you shoving other hands too in first position pre-flop?

Yeap you are right , I am sorry for my first response , I answered this way because being a member for more than 2 years here some questions been asked many many times.

So I will answer in a proper way:
In a full ring we open raise the range we should open raise 3.5x-3x the BB.The closer to the button the smaller the open raise amount. Could be something like 2x from the button, it is OK because we will have position post flop.

Don't open limp , it's not a good move , you will invite more opponents in the hand and your hand will lose equity. Flatting hands after an initial open raise in position is another topic.

In a 6max I personally open raise 3x UTG and 2.5x from every other position.

By open shoving you are losing a ton of value in the long term , something absolutely catastrophic for your long term results. Play AA as every other hand and if you get a 3bet you can either 4bet or flat, depending on your opponent! If the opponent is very aggressive you can trap him by just flatting his 3bet etc.

Set a standard amount no matter what is the strength of your hole cards , don't give tells to your opponents. For example don't OR 7x your AJ+,JJ+ and 3x the rest combos, don't do it.:icon_stud

Ollin preflop with AA is not poker, this casino, the roulette will either win or will not. A good solution would be to raise 4 BB, 5BB :damnmate:

If you listen to some players you should always snap fold aces pre-flop. They always get rinsed on the river!

If you play all-in only premium hands, then opponents can easily read your range. Better to make a min raise. Also much depends on the playing style of opponents. If they are very tight players, they can simply fold their cards.

If your goal is to make as little as possible with Aces, sure.

What u think people?
It depends on your game. If you shove every hand on every play, your Aces will be perfectly disguised and someone will stand up to you with looser hands just to look you up.

A player did that to me once. Shoved me 10x’s in a roll (I folded all of them because my cards were horrible); finally, I called his 10th shove when I picked up A2(is).

I kid you not, when our cards were shown up, the lucky bastard had aces.

True story.

You want to raise bigger when you're UTG to get the worse hands fold. something like 4x the bb amount.
