ok, serious question. with stacks of 100+BB and not much stats on villains, are we always gettting it in PF with AK, either suited or unsuited? Cash tables
No. Depends on the villain, action, position. etc.

and most importantly when we do get it in we dont assume we made a bad decision just cause we see KK or AA and lose :)

Exactly, besides I've had my AK run into AA twice today.. and I won both. I think AA vs AK is practically a flip.

I do find at 25nl that people only tend to get KK+ in pre. I would only get AK in vs some aggro regs and fish, but there arent that many aggro regs or aggro fish. Its so ****ing nitty.

Cross post because who the **** even goes in the mtt forum?

I was backed, backer pulled out because he got a job with Full Tilt. The deal ended with me in make up, what's the protocol? Especially because now I'm going to start playing again on my own money. Do I owe 100% of the make up the deal finished in or what?

rofl my friends are such donks. they rented a house at a ski resort for new years (several days) and were like yeah man join us it'll only be a couple hundred bucks a person. turns out they rented from some guy on craigslist who just stole the money and the house doesn't even exist.

thank god i didnt accept.

@onemorechance: i'm not sure and that prob shouldve been discussed beforehand. i feel like you getting stuck w/ 100% makeup is bullshit if the guy bailed unexpectedly. i'd think it'd be like if he stakes you again, you owe him 100% of the markup or he can sell you to someone else w/ full or partial make up. him making you straight up owe the full $x doesn't seem right.

wtf do i know tho, wait for zach to post, he proly knows best

Villains calling 3 and 4b's and hitting sets like it's there fking job! Seriously how fking profitable can this be? I actually feel like I should be folding QQ+ to flop rr in pf 3b pots now.

Seems like he needs to compromise a bit here cause he's the one that bailed on you and not vice versa. What was the deal to begin with in terms of pulling out by the parties etc, what was agreed to start?

Also does anybody use skype anymore.

I think in general if he pulled out, it's on him.

Yeah **** that guy.

And if most of us say that then the rest of the poker community will think similarly which is what's important, reputation. You're definitely not stuck for it all though.

I know it's probably not his intent but can't he kinda free-roll you like that?

Mitchell Johnson possibly scoring a second century. Would make a decent West Indian opening batsman.

If backer pulls out you owe him nothing and it's not close. Makeup is a contractual obligation for you to keep playing for him until you're out of it. Unless you did something unethical like started intentionally losing or stole from him or something like that, he has to continue backing you for that makeup to continue.

Now sometimes people will sell horses for fractions of makeup (and the ethics of that actually gets discussed a bit) or the horse will buy himself out for a fraction, but if he's not going to back you obviously you shouldn't pay him a dime, let him drop you, and then you can play on your own money, pursue another backing deal, etc. There's a reason he gets a share of your profits when you win, because once in awhile you're going to lose and he has to eat that.
