How can you resist not looking at it? I have the cashier open all the time while playing and look at it every 10 mins or so!

Think about it, that's what leads to obsession with short term results and variance. Poker is a game played over long periods of time and large sample sizes.

It's kind of like the stock market. If you have money in a mutual fund you check it every quarter or so. You can't get wound up every time the market fluctuates a bit.

If I might make a suggestion, get a copy of Dusty Schmidt's "Treat your Poker like a Business". It covers stuff like this really well.

You have to stop focusing on short term results and instead focus on how you are playing.

You are super rolled for your stakes why not try not lookiing at the cashier for one day as an experiment?

I used to tilt extremely badly and end up blowing my roll quite quickly and am still getting over that, but I just find that taking a break for 20 minutes helps to clear my mind.
