If you are using proper BRM then there is no reason to leave when you've doubled your stack.

If there are fish at the table then stay, especially if they also have a big stack.

If the table is full of regs and you aren't comfortable playing deep vs them, then it's probably wise to leave.

This is probably the best advice to give you. If people are just giving money away then you should stay.

True, I made a choice. If I have more than 300bb I'm leaving and rejoin with 100bb. If I have much money I start to play loose and I tilt faster.
This works best for me.
Thanks for all the advice everyone!

From what I have read on poker forums and talking to alot of poker players , Bankroll management is good.. And 100 Buy ins would be what you should be doing. if your tourny is 1 dollar and bankroll is 100 , Its good!
Tourney bankroll is different than cash game bankroll. I don't remember the exact numbers now but you can play in MTT's with fewer buy-ins than what you can do for a cash game. I seem to remember a few pro's saying never buy into a tournament for more than 5% of your BR. So if you have $1,000 then you have 20 buy-ins at $50 each, which would make that first buy in 5% of total BR, or 1/20. It's not advisable, however, to sit in a cash game with 1/20th of your BR.

I don't know what to say. Last night it was a BIG maniac-fish at the table, I had 10$ my initial stack. After 4 hours of stacking him I got 46$. And one hand , this little hand: we go allin I got AJo and he showed AQo. He fu**d me up.

oh I forgot to say... he was 3betting/4betting BIG with anything. He had like 40$ and I had 46$.. He took my entire stack... because of a cooler...
It was YOU who made the terrible "maniac-fish" play and not him. First off, it's not a 'cooler' since he had the better hand preflop. A cooler is when a statistically superior hand gets beat by an inferior one. It is inexcusable to get that many BB's in preflop with A J. If he truly was that big of a fish then you should have continued to profit from him in postflop situations and not give back 4 hours of work in one hand with such a marginal holding. Not only did you lose the money but you forever lost the time you spent building it up. I can't stress enough how much of a rookie mistake it was to put that many BB's in preflop with A J. That's not just a "leak" it a full on bursting dam.
I'm not trying to be mean but I am trying to impress upon you the severity of your mistake. Since we are here to help each other I won't sugar-coat my commentary on your play. Good luck in the future.

In my opinion if you double your stack id in most cases stick with that at first. See how players respond to you and how they play against youwith a larger stack. I.e if you start with 10 and have 40 players may tilt on your raises I find because they think you try steal alot, or reverse they fold alot of hands and you get alot less action. Really depends on the table and how the game changes around you.

Strategically you should keep your stack on the table, the table seemed very soft so it gives you a chance to make more money which is the whole point of the game.
However, Factor X which in this case is your comfort level. IF you're not comfortable with having 10 on the table yet then don't play with it. Your play will falter because of it. Scared money is as easy money as the players you were playing against.
