But this doesn't make any sense. I mean when I play on a cash game the first time I enter the pot I am at least 5 BBs up or down depends on that if the flop missed me or not. And this happens at most at the first half an hour.

A response like this ^ one sounds like it is coming from someone who can play like a 'pro'.
nenkov.... it is obviously about 'the longrun' or 'longterm' winrate. You could easily be up or down 100bb's the first hand you play... but that means absolutely nothing when it comes to your overall 'winrate'.

This thread is over 9 years old - it's a shame ChuckTs is not still around to explain it to you. He was one of our most knowledgeable cash game players back in those days. :)

I think you have something misunderstood, because 0.02 per hour is ridiculous.

It just means that any profit is good. Meaning the first goal per level is to make profit , any profit.
