I think Cash Games are dangerous, especially for those who don't have control, tournaments are something more certain, the person already knows the established limit, I prefer it that way.

Hi, I think that the tournament is more long time to get prizes, and with correct strategies you can do it profitable, in the other hand cash money are so quickly if you don’t control your bankroll and a good strategies maybe you can lose everything in short time. For both kind of play you should be learning strategies.

I like tournaments more because of the variety of games 1 can play. I know there are MTTs with no Rebuy Limit, but some have this limit of 3 or 5 or 10, or 20 rebuys. The thing is, in those MTTs with a limit, especially those with a lower limit of 3 to 5. When you make the last rebuy, bro you have some thrills. Someone also said something about emotions, and that is true. When you go All-In with the last rebuy already done, AA in hand, and on the Flop you see K23, trust me you will feel something. A different emotion will overfill you when an A will hit on the River. So, that`s the beauty of an MTT expressed in words ;)

I think that while you are a beginner and not very confident in yourself you need to play MTT freerolls with a good deep stack and normal speed. When you feel more confident you can try playing cash. The rest depends on your free time and preferences.

In my opinion, we can't say that one format of poker is better than another.

Each format has its own strategies, techniques and disciplines and it'ss up to the player to choose the format that suits them.

Hello friend, these are two different game modalities, which one is better will depend on what you are looking for, taking into account your time, your strategies, your bank roll. Personally I got to know poker through tournaments, due to the number of players that participate and how the prizes are structured, I would say that tournaments are better, but it will depend on what you are looking for. greetings

I can win one pot in cash game and call it a day but in Tournaments well you guys know
Hello, ratbat615! There is a good saying: "Each is your own!" Anyone likes to play only the cash games, the other play only the different tournaments...
But have the players, that play and the different cash games and the tournaments!

Thank you 🙏 for your comment I love ❤️ tournaments too but I think that cash games with bankroll management to me is easier to navigate than a tournament. And the blinds don’t go up ⬆️.

I always liked more money games than participating in tournaments because in tournaments you depend on other players to analyze

I prefer tournaments, Mostly people don't value enough the early game. Just play so much tight but If you do a great early game you have a great chance to win a nice prize.
it's not like that! you have to play well every stage.

I would disagree with you on that but not for the reasons you would think. Yes 1 hand and done is possable for a double up but where can you play a cash came and 100x or more your money? I do get what your saying though and you have a valid point but some players like me prefer tournaments over cash games.

Your assessment is not objective. You need to analyze the results over a long period, for example one year, and then you will understand well what is better.

I prefer cash games due to the fact that I struggle to stick to my game plan for a tournament which can take a long time.

All poker formats are profitable from cash games to sngs to multi-table tournaments...
Poker is a grind no matter which one you choose...

I prefer cash games! :D

I prefer cash games to tournaments because you feel more confident in your bets and the tournament becomes more difficult and you can get a smarter player or with better tactics than me

to be honest, I prefer tournaments, because at cash tables you can lose much faster amounts bigger than the buy-in in a tournament; this way you limit your losses or the risk of losing ..... what do you say? , I'm right :) ?
Limiting losses? Depends on rebuy. If no rebuys are available, then i can agree. But if rebuys are available, then believe it or not, u can lose lot more rebuying. Ive seen it live.

Tournament i played on the Memorial weekend, i played $200 + $100 add on tournament, cashed for $1108. I was still bummed out because 1st place was $18k. The lady who was paying me out said "hey. Be fortunate u made it this far with one buyin. You will be surprised how many times this one old lady rebought in. 13 times of full rebuy with add on. 300 x 13 = $3900. I know i read an article about negreanu buying in like 52 times or something although that was more of a publicity stunt to make a record in my opinion.

We have league/tournament poker regionally in my area and if members get knocked out, they usually start up a cash game.
Most of them that play those, always prefer them over tournaments, because it is easier to make a return for your buy ins.
I would also say for me personally, I'm more successful in the cash games than the tournaments.

I think cash is more fun and dynamic than cash tournaments — you can bluff more often

The advantage of a cash game is that I can end my game session and leave the table at any time. But I won't win as much money in cash games as I can in MTTs. If I have a lot of free time, it is better to play tournaments. Personally, I think that playing tournaments is much more interesting than cash games and there is an opportunity to win a good prize. I can't say which of these poker disciplines is better, each player chooses what suits him best. A lot depends on my mood, sometimes there is a desire to play cash and sometimes there is a desire to play MTT or SNG.

MTTs are often way softer BUT the variance can be ridiculous and the luck moment in the end game then you have obligatory all-ins have little to do with skill.

yes in my opinion the cash game is more exciting and gives you more freedom and confidence in the moves and with precision of course

I prefer tournaments. In cash you can win easily but you can have big loses just as easy. In tournaments you have time to recover from a bad beat

With Cash Game, you can allocate your time better.
You can stop at any time, you can play on multiple tables.
You can select between the tables in most cases.
But it's too monotonous, so Tournament is more fun for me.
