Big Hands hitting nothing - some help?

push preflop

especially if you are playing in a freeroll...just push all-in when you think you have the best hand but dont think you are going to hit. you might pick up a few small pots and build some chips this way or you might get called by some moron with total garbage and win a gigantic pot with just ace high unimproved.

Agree, if it's a freeroll, you just have to avoid lucky idiots... just this morning I pushed 4xBB with pocket Aces (only a few hands in), got 3 callers. Flop came rags, and decided I wanted to double up and pushed all-in, and got 1 caller. They had 2nd pair, and caught on the river to bust me out... so even when you are ahead after the flop you have to avoid those that continue to play badly and get lucky - you can't expect solid play until very late in a freeroll if at all. Great way to learn to deal with bad beats, though.
