This is a very profitable strategy, which is why we see so many players using it.

Oh wait, did I over-count?

After having 50+ hands on a villain you mark him as a NIT because hes playing like 6/5 and steal his blinds with 7 2 or J 2o. If you were joking then its not funny at all.

Using that strategy you can make like 40c / hour. Thats 2bb/100.
Still a positive WR huh???????

Hmmm he shoves all in.

How often would our pocket 6's come across his AK range? some math please? I know theres like 16 combo's for AK making it more likely but really im just wondering whats the math against any pocket pair against his shove?

I'm just purely guessing around 36-45% equity?

It's very simple as ever. You can either play a lot of hands and lose your bankroll or play about 20% of their hands and to be chocolate. Newcomers to the many small stakes. They are ready to go all-in with any pair, regardless of the amount of times and ran into aces again to buy more chips.

Do not rush to play all their pairs aggressively, especially if there is not any statistics on the players. You can go limp and manners of the game or beat your opponent, or fold his cards without risking the entire stack

I kid around about 30-40% of the hands that I pass. I just can not keep from suited connectors. At times, it seems to me that this hand steeper aces.

The name of the game is definitely value. bluffing is basically useless, people call extremely light. And if they make a hand, it doesn't matter what's on the board. Shove, make it look like a bluff, get a call. Just be mentally ready for the call station to suck out on you...

Let's see. We pick up 66 he shoves all in. We fold and congratulate ourselves for making a basic fold. Even if it were marginally +EV to call, which I don't see how. We would still be better off just folding when he shoves and stealing blinds the rest of the time.

thanks for the obvious... But I wanted the math... Sometimes we can't win poker with math or abc alone we have to think outside the square.

Calling with QQ and AK is -EV against this strategy let alone 66...
