you're clearly not a retard so just chill the **** out and come back tomorrow and crush some bitches. I know you play hypers which are the crack cocaine of online poker but you know you have an edge so stop compromising it! why is everyone tilting balls all of a sudden!

p.s. what was your check raising strategy at the start of our hu match? I'm sure hu regs would be able to annihilate you for ch/raising the flop like 30% of the time but i just couldn't counter it for ages until i stopped c-betting so much, and every time i would 3bet your ch/raises with air you'd actually have something ridiculous like bottom pair or something! so tilting lol

look what youve done to him arran, how could you!

also we can talk SSers on skype

meh i'd rather go on youporn, but i'll maybe come on skype first. Not much to talk about ss'ers they're all terrible and the best i've seen 3bets like 12% but folds to 0 4bets! he's actually winning the games yet calls 4bet shoves with stuff like QTo!! crazy.

Meh, sometimes it's just better to stop playing for a while and re-group your thoughts. I'll leave like $20 or so in so I can play some games but april has destroyed me.

I didn't think you were playing back enough on some boards early on so I thought it was a good spot to exploit on lots of boards. Also I quite often had decent equity or backdoors to the nuts which I was getting away with check/raising. Also it gave me betting lead for turn and I think you'll fold too much (since you play FR and you'll end up in some spots you're not sure about with stuff like 3rd pair) to lots of barrels early on when I perceived your range as capped to 2nd pair type hand.

Quite a good strategy on your part. I did struggle continuing a lot, i think i adjusted wrongly by 3bet bluffing you though, i should of waited till i hit the board because so often i didnt even have 2nd or bottom pair to continue with to your check raises. Would of been interesting to see how things played out after like 5k hands because 1k was just so flippy, i mean we only had like 4 or 5 big all in hands.

And i think my 3bet strategy was pretty good but every ****ing time i 3bet you and you called i would miss every flop :( and stupid ***** me would do what comes naturally and fire with air

Might look for a stake, for a few reasons:

- Monthly cash in pocket for my efforts
- Forced focus, I would have to play x game and only that game, which takes all the indecisiveness away from me
- Have to grind (I play 20k hands per month, not sure if that would be enough though for some backers??)

Having some sort of responsibility to play and do well for someone else, is also a situation that mirrors my real life, i'm a worker bee for sure and will never run the hive!

What do people think of getting staked?

I realize I'm not exactly in the cash game inner circle so feel free to tell me to piss off, but I had a question about your staking idea.

You are a solid player who tilts hard. You seem like you are a super responsible, stand up person. If you were to get staked and then run bad and lose a few buy ins of other people's money, how are you not going to tilt even worse due to feeling bad/responsible for losing their money? I would think staking would increase your potential for tilt.

I don't know what the magic bullet is for fixing tilt but I doubt that staking is it.

Just my two cents,

Good luck

From my encounters w/staking, I've tended to notice it's the opposite actually (at least for me) , meaning I tend to never tilt while being staked

Losing their $ does not enable tilt, but tends to make me stop playing so I don't just blow their money away, assuming i'll have to be accountable for it later on.

It's easy to explain to a backer losing $, as shit happens obv, but when your backer says "let's see some hands, what happened" etc. then you can't really answer back "tilt" w/o looking like an idiot

just my opinion on the subject

This is completely mythical, there is no inner circle lol, least not a closed one! Not telling you to piss off anyways! Deuces has pretty much summed up my opinion on staking though tbh, its being held accountable for my actions that is the strong point for me.

Cool. I just didn't want to step on any toes. What you and Deuces say makes a lot of sense. Anyways, whatever you do with it, good luck.

Nice blog BTW.

The main reason for getting staked that would be good for me is getting in with a proven winner who will also do some coaching at the same time, win-win that way as long as both parties have a good relationship and a agreement that would suit boths needs.

Currently donating at 10 nl and 5 nl rush! Wow I am so bad at poker, I am spewing like a bus full of rugby players on a stag weekend. Still I have come a long way from the nit I used to be. Shame its too far. What cash game books shall I start reading?

main reason I'd prob suck at playing 100nl, losing so much in one pot would put me on life tilt..
