My house-mate is hitting a few places in Europe this summer. There's this thing you can buy which is pretty much a train hopper throughout Europe and you just stop at hostels wherever you are, sounds sick.

Yeah thats what im planning on buying, interrail ticket or something i think its called. 1 month unlimited train travel around europe or something, gonna be well worth the money! I really wanna go to germany, it looks so nice and friendly... and lots of beer there too!

The trip is our belated honeymoon (married last October) and we are flying into Paris, picking up a car and essentially doing a clockwise drive around Europe. Seeing a dozen countries or so. Probably keener to chat about it in PM/Skype/own thread/in person than to clog this thread up.

My wife has organised pretty much everything down to the fine print so hopefully everything runs smoothly.

It is going to be a stressful month though because I have my final exam the day before I fly out (fully qualified and the end of 8yrs of study) and I have just today received a big promotion at work and have a bazillion things to organise/delegate/hide. Add that to getting the house in order for the vacancy, worrying about the dog and actually packing/organising for the holiday.....Definitely do not need the stress of poker.

Sounds amazing. And really "clogging up" this thread with that is infinitely preferable to the normal crap that clog the drain!

Yeah, think it was about €400 when I went in 2008(?). The ticket is valid for a month, so you can go for about 5 weeks if you include the start and end cities.

Germany is class, I'm living there at the moment. 6pack of beer €1.20, no complaints!

I dont want to downplay the US contribution, but in Europe, most of the fighting against Germany was actually done by Russia. And there's a pretty good chance that, if it wasn't for US, the train ride around Europe would only be throu the USSR now.

I've been tempted for a while to stick $200 or so on Party and grind out the welcome bonus at 10NL

10nl, not a huge amount of tables going but every single one was really soft. quite fun for something to do when i cant fit in a full tourney session. Plus i have a mate who said he would teach me.

lots of limp/folding everyone folds to every 3bet. one maniac 4bet shove his entire opening range. heaps of stupid folds on rivers.

also if im not having trouble even when being moderately spewy you should be able to carve up

Haha so true. Britain stood it's ground as long as it could, Russia won the war and America stopped them half way through Germany.

Got my new monitor today so excited to play poker on it, i'm like a child on christmas only this christmas my girlfriend is around so i have to entertain her until she gets tired and i can become a degen once again, and obviously fire lots of tables up!

Does anyone else who uses two screens have any tips? im kinda new to it all, currently got it so i move my pointer to the right of the screen and it goes to the sexy new one, is there better ways to set it up for poker or is that the best?

Oh and also, do any of you use this lighting program (forgot what its called) that changes the screens brightness or something depending on the time of day, meant to be really good for your eyes or something?

I have dual screens and it's teh balls. Not sure on your last question though, how else would you have/want it set up than for the desktop to be extended from one screen to the next?
