Jeez just back from my brand spanking new card club. A 30 second walk from my house hence not much online play these days.

+€4K tonight, on a €2/5 game. Hands of note including shipping over a raise pre with AA and getting called with 88for a 1K pot because he rekoned i was full of it. Spent the rest of the night getting wayyyy to much respect, and every single one of my river bluffs went swimmingly, even though i was probably bluffing the river one hand in 3. Left because the town whale arrives and refused to play unless he could buyin for the max stack size, i don't complain and leave after one orbit. Makes my first and only $10K month and its like only the 6th of august :) (cue the downswing)

Big problem with coming home with actual cash is that I have to pay to play, the wife is the biggest rake :(

Nice. Just wait 'till you get more mouths/rake to pay!

^^ I like 'em. Min-raises can mess with players minds when they're not used to them (ie. they're not playing 10nl).

1st hand was just trying to get a little value. Villain was an unknown and I didn't figure his 3bet meant a lot. Nice that he hit topest pair on the turn.

2nd hand was against a nit (9/8/8) or similar. He always has an overpair or AK and I thought the min raise might make him think FD and shove. It's nice to win stacks.

Edit: Speaking of nits, I see jewboy07 ITT. How you been? :)

My first session of FR 10nl and it went quite well. Ran good but played OK I guess, $22 over 292 hands. Including the hand above which was literally the last of my session.

I've unlocked 1/6th of my FT $600 first deposit bonus. I have until the 25th of September to unlock the rest. Prop bet?

The variance of being a BE player can be brutal.

Haters gonna hate etc.

Lucky, how long does FT give you to clear all that $600 bonus? is it achievable at 10nl?

Hmmm maybe 3 or 4 months I can't remember. Not really, you would have to super mega grind and near impossible. 25nl is close to impossible too, would need to be playing 50nl really. I deposited 600 and withdrew 300 straight away cause that's the most I felt comfortable playign with. Started grinding 10nl and only about the same amount now.

Also losing the flips when I have the AK vs 55 and then losing when I have QQ vs AK is tilting me slightly.

EDIT: I post in here too much :(

Two things I hate about 50/20 players

1) They take my Buy-ins calling 3bets with J8
2) This in turn makes me tilt which me makes spew...

Sigh all this work today down the drain because I suck at Pokerz

Oh well...keep on grinding

If your serious, I'm interested, nothing huge but I am happy to give some action so that you have an extra incentive to clear it.

Beat: Forgot about the HU bonus game, turned up an hour late, waste of $5 imo, could have bought a pint.

I am in the same place at the moment just playing not much at all and having a lot of free time to play and learn right now, is it a bad idea to force yourself to play when you just cba?

Thinking of moving to a Euro site after finishing my FT bonus. It's hard to find info on them out on the interwebs though, everyone is selling something. Anybody have a quick idea of the positive and negatives? I'm thinking better peak times for me, possibly softer competition. Meh.
