Also, for my fellow live players, have you guys ever owned the hoodies with the strings that double as ear phones?

My cord always gets tangled in my pockets/come out when I move chips forward and bump them. Are the hoodies an upgrade/

These might work for you.

Never heard/seen such

As much as i enjoy music, listening to music while at the live table is -EV. An worse than that it's just bad for the game period in the long run imo. Recreational players come to play, to have a good time. They want to have a few drinks, socialize, and have a few laughs. We need to get rid of the headphones, sunglasses, and to be more welcoming to them. End of short rant.
Also i'm just south of Philly.

Rodney join the Skype group/post some hands or something. Runbad sucks, but at 2nl, I bet there are some spots where you could improve.

I'm actually still semi-crushing 2NL at 9bb/100, just want to reverse psycho myself into loving suckouts

I'm actually never tilted at all today I bounced back for 10 buy ins today after the initial bumpy ride

Yeah definitely can improve the win rate without a doubt, but I'm in 12-table autopilot mode with occasional adjustments vs the nitty regs so winrate HAS to take a dent

**** YOU VARIANCE AND YOUR BULLSHIT LAUGHING IN MY FACE AS YOU ****ING MAKE IT YOUR ****ING MISSION TO ****ING LET ME GET IT IN GOOD EVERY GOD DAM ****ING TIME VS THE ****ING FISH TO LET THEM HIT THE ****ING RIVER AND SOMETIMES TURN A ****ING **** TON OF TIMES YOU ****ING LOATHSOME PIECE OF MATHS.

OK I feel better now. Just finished a 4 hour session at 10NL that for the most part was actually kind of enjoyable in some respects, most of my tables were mostly regs and pretty much all of us were having full on leveling wars. I actually got to play poker for a change and probably made a decent amount of money in the session from these battles. But I finished ~even or slightly down because ****ing variance rared her ugly head in 8 full buy in pots. Those are the ones I got it in as a big favourite only to be hit by backdoor boat, rivered bigger two pair, backdoor straight ect ect there were some friggen annoying spots I didn't get to see show down due to sick run outs. I had very few spots where I was behind and out drew them by the river, only when I had the right price to call down and when I made a profitable agressive play with a big draw.

Although I'm not sure I'd call all these regs any good. One guy was an aggrotard that was madsivly over playing everything going mad with 3 bets 4 all in greeting in 100bbs pre flop with 33 K10 act. Only I could never get the right spots or cards to stack him or play back at him which is a shame since he was an atm. Meanwhile other 'reg' who seems generally OK but still blows up. Calls the 4 bet all in with 55 (ends up beating 33) like I know the guys an agro yard but it was an utg Bob dynamic and you're calling over 100bbs with 55? I guess you have history or something. And he was also prone to abusing fish, not cool dude.

I liked that I got to actually play poker for a change, the games were aggressive but I got to play a lot of spots post flop that were quite creative and pre flop as well there was a lot of leveling was going on.

The frustrating part came from the fact that despite the fact I generally felt I was playing well. I had to keep watching the fish suck out. Like it seemed like I was making more from regs than fish (probably not true but it felt like it.) When again I witness the nut flush get beaten by backdoor boat I had to snap quit in case I started to let tilt effect my game.

Having said that, this is one hand I'm really not sure if I played well or not. It worked out well for me but to be honest it kind of feels like I might have just been button clicking.
