Good luck men.

It's been harder to me. I reached 45$ 888 poker without a deposit and 95$ Fulltilt the same way. Then i got mental and lost it. I got  when i try to play tight and aggresive and some loose players win the pot with a 46s and i had QQKKAA preflop. I raise and they 3-bet with those hands til we got All in. So AA vs 46s pam Flop 447 or they complete a project.
Instead of playing a low level i even play a higher one and cant handle it. I think my poker strategies are good but i have to improve my mental play.

keep going and do not make the mistakes i've told.;)

Can't be flushdrawing here

Need flop stats (cbet ratio, AF and reraise on the flop)

Those 3 stats would extremely help me judge here whether to risk or not personally (AF most so).

I truly would only fold if his AF is lower than 40% and if his cbet isn't like 80+% (meaning this is not a habitual play where he is chasing a drawn or hit a 7 but something truly strong for his range).

Especially with 36 hands, for me 12-ish hands and I can spot a player's style dead on. 20 hands and I know how they read others as well.

This is zoom poker where it's hard to read player styles. I have to look into those stats like you said
But sometimes people slowplay like this & blast off seeing a bad flop. In zoom I have to drop this.

Check the river.. Considering the stack sizes. Thoughts?

A couple of years ago in the polished poker thread John encouraged the group to post stats comparing flatting versus 3betting small pairs 22-55 in the blinds.
A few players myself included posted stats. Leakbuster also has a filter that directly compares the the win rates of the two strategies which makes it very simple to compare.
Personally and I think it was the same across the board flatting small pairs in the blinds is a small leak. Whereas when the hands are 3bet overall it was a small win.
When you think about it this is logical. You only flop a set 1 in 8 attempts so when you do flop a set you need to win a minimum of 12bb per set to make it better than folding. Of course most times you are calling a x3 raise and this totals up to an extra 4 or 5 bb per hand depending on SB or BB. Multiply by 8 and you need to win over 30bb per set. I can tell you from experience that doesn't happen. Its difficult to get fully paid from the blinds and most of the time no one has anything that can play back at you. Its reasonably easy to filter for small pairs in the blinds so have a look at how often you managed to stack someone. I guarantee it is a lot less than you think.

So when you 3bet small pairs from the blinds you are going to take it down preflop roughly 60-70% of the time and you are still going to hit your set 1 in 8 and you are more likely to win a full stack in a 3bet pot with a set as your opponents hands are going to be that much stronger when they flat your 3bet.
Just remember you are on a steal so if you get called you should be giving up regularly, if you barrel in 3bet pots it gets very expensive very quickly. You have to pick your barrelling targets very carefully.

Of course as Bean rightly points out you can't do the same thing all the time in poker or you become exploitable, you need to balance in some calling with your 3betting you gotta mix it up bro.

Thank you Bruce. I play tight as a snare drum from SB, but I am going to 3b more now.

Arse about face

You should be shoving the 55 on the turn, he's pot committed and will call off any Ax, you missed 50bb.

You should be folding the JJ, I mean its an insta fold for me. They are both all in, in front of you, they gave you a clear message you were beat and you still want to call it off with JJ? That is a really poor call. Clearly one has 9x and your side pot against the CO isn't big enough. You only beat TT and getting it all in with TT is pretty dull here.

So had another pretty long session. The first part of it, I ran pretty bad loosing around $12+flips going the other way, bad plays etc..
Was getting frustrated/tilted so too a small break changed the music & got back to grinding.
Was super relaxed, focused I'd say. And the luck turned sides.

See the downsiwng to break even point & the upswing. Both in the same session after running good in the morning one.

Position-wise stats

Biggest losses are from SB. But I've been very tight from there. So must be some flips

55.. Both are deepstacked
He's 250+BBs deep. So is it worth to risk my entire 300BB+ stack here? What if he catches a higher boat by chance?

Yeah JJ wasn't good. But both the players were marked as fish. Main reason I went for the call. And I'm getting really good odds & felt a bit lucky. But I get your point.

Those are much better stats, and a good session well done.
Don't be overly concerned about the SB off this sample size, your good figures in the BB more than compesate anyway.
I can see immediately you have stepped up from the button, so you are listening and adapting and learning.

He's 250+BBs deep. So is it worth to risk my entire 300BB+ stack here? What if he catches a higher boat by chance?
I did't notice you were so deep but its still a turn raise. So you don't want to to win 250BB then? On the turn you are only losing to AA and A3. If you think you are ahead and he's going to call with worse you should be raising. Look what he had AK he would have likely stacked off on the turn.

Watched a movie after some time. One of my favourites tbh.
Limitless. Seriously, watch it if you haven't already.
I'm not a drug user & haven't even touched even a beer since I was 19 or 20 ish but this kind of mental enhancement is really interesting.
I've done some research about close to similar stuff to NZT in the movie and found some. Not saying would go for them but very interesting indeed.

Example of getting into a tough spot on SB & also being multiway.

How am I supposed to know that this is a bluff cbet & he's not betting a 10? I flatted to see what would happen but how can I continue here? In the end take a look at what they have
So IMO flatting from SB is pretty damn bad
For one we are capping our range as being weaker & then we have to play OOP. Those two things together doesn't work very well

What do you think about this shove?
I personally don't like it when I review. I was looking for a turn shove but then the worst card hit the turn. So maybe perhaps it was too optimistic.

Well today hasn't been quite like yesterday but still doing some decent profit. But not a straight upswing. I stopped the session right after an expensive bluff going worng

The graph for today

So I've been grinding at stars zoom, and doing good there I guess.
Haven't moved to party yet. I want to grind regular tables there but since I've been doing pretty well at zoom, kinda feel like taking a shot at fast forward. :)
Got to think about it.

Stars - $239.76

Here's the graph since 18/10/2017 @ 5NL 6max zoom at stars. (Since the downswing/tilt days were over & I started climbing up again)

Sorry if I'm making this too boring by bragging about winnings. I'm just so happy that things turned out for the better after those couple of frustrating days :icon_joke

QQ turn shove too thin.

I would actually prefer bet/fold mode. Like 60-65% pot, and if he jams we decide. Prob bet/fold.

8s-7s hand:

I one and done this flop. I don't think it matters we turned an OESD. He could already have us drawing dead. I don't mind cbet OTF, but yeah just c/f turn.
