Good summary above for preflop. Post flop I would tend to be cautious on A high boards in case out kicked, trying to get 1 or 2 streets of value often by inducing bluffs.
I'm never quite sure how far to defend these hands from BB, usually I defend v late position but fold to early position raise

I don't play much cash games nowadays(mostly home games with friends where the 'rules' are different- you need to play loose and have a few drinks or you're not welcome lol... I mean we're playing for small stakes and nits can ruin the experience...), but I had conversations with different poker coaches over the years about hands that people play wrongly and/or hands that usually make them lose money- and hands like A6o-A9o in cash games is at the top because you rarely win big pots with this hands and quite often you'll be put in difficult spots and lose big pots... their short answer and advice was to just fold hands like this that aren't profitable and can put you in tough spots, especially if you're not an advanced player and/or don't have much information about your opponents...

I just try to see the flop for cheap and and try to out flop my opponent I sometimes 3bet Theses hands 🙌 cause I think 🤔 it plays better. Plus it’s so good 😊 when you out flop AK you get all the chips if you flop two pair say AK hits a A .and you hit your 2 pair. But it can be very risky cause you have to fold if you hit your A and you know you are out kicked so very risky I would just try to see cheap flops.

I don't play them in cash games, there is only one exeption, if I am in the BB and the raiser is in late position, I do sometimes defend.
