Aside from betting less aggressively, is there any way to avoid this?
I am newish to ring games (I usually avoid them)
Is it just bad luck? Its happened 3 times today!
I will give you an example: .2-.5 microlimit
Hero: k-10 d one from button raises to .15
Villian is dealer
two players to the flop:
Flop comes: kh 10s 4d
hero bet pot: .30
villian calls
turn 2s:
hero bets .50
villian calls
river: 7h
hero bets: .70
villian calls
villian shows 44
hero mucks k-10
There it is. And it happened again and again...
How do I avoid that at my current limit?
This guy had been playing like a maniac, so I thought I was exploiting his A-k or something.
But instead I lost a big pot.
Ideas? Advice?
