without knowing how villain played their hand before, they might be bluffing or they got lucky on the river w/ JJ (they might slowplay 22 or 88 too).
or we can check call turn & try to figure out the hands from their bet size (we check call river if they bet big on turn or betting 1/3 pot if they bet small on turn)

So good point from this do not expect V to have the ranges you would have nor take the actions you would take--- suicide bluffs are common in live cash games
