Then why are you calling with AK? I'm thinking this is a typo?

2nd hand; nicely played, but bet at least half the pot on the turn. If he's gonna call, you want him to call a decent amount; luckily he hit his 2 pair and decided to raise you instead of just calling down or folding what could have been just a pair of tens.

im pre flop or the flop?
pre flop I was multi-tabling and when I clicked over I hit call, I wanted to raise
and on the flop, I wasthinking he had A/10 and was worried about it thats why i didnt reraise,
note he was a tight player and played alot of Ace face and high pocket pairs

So you were prepared to call a 3rd of your stack down on the turn & river, without knowing where you were in the hand? Besides that you put him on a hand and still called him down? If you think he has 2 pair, then your spending $7.50 on 3 outs......

Nice with the 2nd hand though!

Yes actually, last day ever in my job, my birthday, and off to Bulgaria for a week this evening! Only slightly tarnished by witnessing poor grammar and sloppy spelling.

*Looks at calendar*

You share a birthday with yer bestest friend IrishDave, Rob. Happy birthday!

Edit: As a birtday present to you, I've changed the thread title.

Ok, on topic... >.>

Hand 1 - Raise the turn, definitely. An argument could be made for betting the flop, but I don't necessarily dislike checking behind.

Hand 2 - I think this is a fold on the flop, but implied odds might say otherwise. Otherwise fine.

-Yeah, I definitely would have madea decent sized bet here. You still need to represent a strong hand.

>>> TURN <<< [Tc 6d 8s] A♦ good card
grindrx: bets $7.50 I was thinking he had A 10
Shortstacked: calls $7.50 yep smooth call

-Raise, damn it! YOu got the card you want and there are two diamonds on the board!

Thankfully, you won the pot, Just keep this in mind next time.

In the first hand I'd be raising the turn and the river. You are missing some value here.

Second hand, the raise is a bit stiff and you may lose guys with TPTK here. Not too many guys lay down two pair though so you got lucky.

I think it started about the same time as grammar was mentioned, unfortunately thats the way it goes around here sometimes unless healthy intervention shines though.
