This is where things went wrong poker-wise. F*$k knows the parallel universe logic that went on inside my mind here. I suddenly thought he might be on a flush draw with a better spade than me. LOL

So he flopped a straight, and I rivered him. I'd feel sorry for the sucker, but I've been rivered for close on a grand this week, so suck on that!

Looking at the numbers, I was a 40:60 underdog at the flop.
So my call isn't looking so bad right now, but a fold was still probably the right move after the re-raise.

At the turn, it was 30:70 in villian's favour. I was pretty much pot-committed at that point (Pot odds for the all-in: 3.8:1), and the read I had on the guy is that he had been playing nothing with an overcard pretty aggressively. The call at this point was definitely correct.
