This reminds me of a 100nl hand I played in my local casino a while back. Me and villain were 100~ deep I had 33 and was first to act, I looked down at my penis and thought, "yes I should raise to £3 here". It folded around to the CO who 3bet to £10 and everyone else folded round to me. I glimpsed down at my penis again and tried to decide how his 3bet affected the way my manhood was perceived by the table. I decided to 4bet up to £25 while simultaneously pointing the forefingers of both hands down to my crotch with my shoulders hunched up in an intimidating alpha-male fashion. I believed this would cause the table to understand how large my penis was and that the villain should fold. Villain tanked and shoved. I snapped it off and stood up so everyone could get a good look at my testicular area.

I rivered a 3, villain flips KK and I show my set of 3's to take down the pot. Villain looks at me and my penis and says,

"Wow you're such a sicko!"

My masculinity was safe.....for now.

Quality;)

@ deco; Im not debating that stacking off pre is bad, but I was just saying they were my intentions.

Also, what about AJ, then its about right...Consid gameflow at the time.

Not stacking off because of odds,
game flow,
stats,
villain,
ME!

More often then not it will be a flip, assuming I get folds from 9s, im prob crushed around 25%.

Sure, so basically when im checking this flop im very polarized, so assuming villain is decent in which case hes semi decent I can play semi optimally.

My thought process;
So any overpair to the board should be bet calling off as my range is more so weighted towards air rather than crushing the flop.easy right, because any Ax/Kx with the heart etc im betting this flop, so when i check to villain and he doesnt bet, imo he can never have an overpair except AA/KK with a heart, as any other combo, he risks losing all his equity on the turn when a heart comes, so once done i just disregard overpairs as their are far more combos that arent containing the heart, so +ev right, because a lot less chance he has an over pair with a heart.

Now when i check flop, imo I kinda have to check turn, i hear what people are saying about betting 1/3 pot, but mehh, think my line is slightly better.

When he bets turn and not flop his range is now polarized also, again only a small amount of combos that are in his range crush me so, im pretty sure i have decent FE, as I think he checks back all his 9s< with a heart as hes got decent SD value and can re-evalutate river in pos.

So against a nutted range were im crushed in comparison to when im slightly ahead, along with FE, imo its +ev to shove rather than fold.
Again i check flop with the intention to snap fold, hand didnt play out that way so i adjusted..Which is key, no good it did though as he spiked a heart on the river, but mehh, irrelevant.

If this doesnt explain it, then just ask again and il try go into more detail or make it simpler.
.

Okay so he cant have TT-QQ because theyre all jamming the flop, right? been in this scenario a million times with AK and get jammed on vs those hands. although i think we can only discard these hands most of the time eh?

Why cant he have AA/KK with or without hearts though? like youre saying hes jamming AA/KK here without heart because if he doesnt then any heart on the turn is a fold..
and hes betting AA/KK with a heart for value on the flop 100% of the time

What about combos of AK with and without hearts? with your logic about shouldnt he also bet the flop wiith AhKx AxKh? becos he has FE and has two overs and a FD? so then when he checks the flop we can include AKo in his range but not AK with a heart? :s

lets get to the turn after we figure out the flop...baby steps lol

Ye
lets add 72o and 22 whilst we're at it and remove all bigger pairs and it looks like we're crushing.

So much hostility ITT, lol

It's hardly hostility dude.

In fact the only guy showing hostility itt is you mate. You called WV out and you had a go at Chuck.

I don't think one person has supported you line, yet you still try to dispute your line is 'not that bad'. There are respected posters like Deco, Acky, Hack and Chuck who pretty much know what they're talking about yet you still try to find justification in your line.

There's nothing to get. Don't call 5bets or 6bet shove 33 preflop with no FE at micro-stakes ever. It's not a sicko or lag move, it's not some deeper level thinking concept...it's just plain silly...no matter what anyone says. Like I can't even stress that enough, it cannot be rationalised in any way to be a +EV decision either immediately in showdown or potentially in future hands.

I'd agree with that statement 100%. I'd probably fold after the 3 bet pre. Looks like you threw some money away.
