I played the wrong or is it just bad beat?

oh yeah! I have notes on that player ... he likes to bluff opponents and crushes high stakes!. I have marked it as an aggressive maniac. I was not afraid of his hands .... thought he had a maximum of AK on their hands ...It really would be helpful to know what your image is at the table and how the villain has been playing prior to this hand.
I don't think you should necessarily give him credit for a set or straight on the turn. He has position on you and it's quite possible that he has a hand like AJ, KJ, or JT.
If you believe that he has paired his Jack here, then you should probably simply call his min-raise and re-evaluate your hand on the river. You would only be putting $0.30 into a pot of $1.30.
You need to ask what your purpose is in re-raising the villain on the turn. If you really believe that you have the best hand, then you probably don't want the villain to fold. In order to re-raise the way you did, you need to be very confident that the villain is the type of player to commit his whole stack with a single pair.
