Attention freeroll players:

Like all freeroll players, I have an account and play in many rooms.
Be careful people with the small rooms, which disappear from one day to the next and leave you with the money inside and go sing to Gardel !!! (This phrase is used in argentina and means that you screw yourself).
It happened to me with 32red, Highstakes and now with TonyBet.
Anyway, I have learned the lesson and from now on I will only play in large rooms, and in the tournaments organized by Cardschat.
Why was he playing in those shit rooms? Because the tournaments were small in number of players and as such have less variance (in fact I have won several of those tournaments).
Obviously I will have to understand that you have to play tournaments in recognized rooms, even though it is more difficult to win in them.
Well folks, be careful because, like in life, in poker there is also a lot of garbage and mother****er hanging around.
Sorry for the bad words but I'm really in a bad mood.

Thanks for your attention.

PS: On the subject of clubs (in applications like PPPoker, etc.) I will only say that I still have them under study. I honestly can not comment because there are friends who play and sponsor these applications, and out of respect and ignorance I will not pass judgment on it.

Kind regards from Buenos Aires.

Great information. Thankyou so much for sharing. I had been looking at some of those small room games but will avoid them now.
Thanks again.

It's always risky to play in smaller poker rooms, specially when you have to deposit to request a cashout. I always try to search other players reviews before depositing in a new room.
I'm sad to hear about your bad experiences, particularly about 32red poker. I used to really like this room and never had problems with them, but it has been a long time since the last time I've played there, so, thanks for the info about them and the others rooms.

32red is a very reliable and trusted site,British bookmaker giant, they closed their poker business after more then 15 years dealing, and your money is completely safe - you can withdraw them at any time.
As for Highstakes, on their website right now you can fill out a submission for withdrawl.I chose skrill as withdrawal option and I got my money within 1 day.
TonyBet Poker has been a part of TonyBet.com Casino&Bookmaker site for about 8 years, and now they've decided to get rid of their poker direction, but your money is safe and you are more then wellcome to withdraw your funds when you wish.

Small or big is not the only choice.
Also if a room existed for a long time.
For instance intertops (maybe one of the first online rooms?).
And this is not a big room, but trustworthy.

Hi.

I appreciate your comment but your experience is not mine. I could not withdraw from 32Red (I was told to use the money for betting or casino ???) nor have I received my money from Highstakes (I have already filled out the form they have on the web). Tony Bet I still had no answers. I continue to negotiate and provide documentation to them ..
I congratulate you for getting your money but this is not my case. Maybe it has to do with being South American. I only know that I will not play in small rooms again, except for those that have Cardschat tournaments.

Regards.

Thanks all for your comments and thank you for always being there, whether or not we agree on opinions (that's what freedom is about).

Best regards from Buenos Aires.

trustworthy but not kind to freerollers.
you must have a rake of 50% of the total won in freerolls to withdraw any amount.
I have a bankroll of half in freerolls and half in other winnings but can't withdraw period until the freeroll rake is paid.
I like them too but with such a terrible selection of SnGs I am forced to play cash games to earn rake.
there are less that 200 people playing on the site at most times. JMO

Not kind at all I'm afraid.
I happen to win a freeroll ($16.50 after 5 hours of play). They put that money in "My Wallet" and it was impossible to transfer it to Poker. They said I can't use it to play poker ! And I have to make a deposit. I find that policy very unreasonable and makes no sense since I had won that money playing poker and not any other game.

I just didn't want to call it that, but you are right, it's a real scam. Instead of encouraging people to fill up their EMPTY tables, they want to take their money at the casino games.
Besides, that money is not even theirs. I think the "sponsors" like CC and others should intervene or only give business to fair sites.

I feel your pain Warrior, although I was able to withdraw from 64spades, they ended up shuttering with about 30 bucks of earnings I had on there.
Should have known, I felt something was up - when stuff started changing. I also won a 15 dollar ticket into one of the few higher stake buyin events, and the following week - the event was completely removed from their site, so I had a useless ticket I had beat out over 200 other players to win.

I will say there is one exception to this rule though for smaller poker sites. SwC (seals with clubs) They are a pretty small site - and they are legit. I have never deposited on that site,,,, or maybe I did $10 bucks - but I have withdrawn 4 or 5 times without issue. All monies won in tourneys and a little on micro cash tables. I think they have been around for nearly 15 or more years. They are a legit site.

Wish CC would dump Intertops and go to SwC instead.

Just wanted to concur with your assessment of Intertops.

Although i agree with you it is an unfriendly policy, it is clearly written in there Terms of Service so it is not a scam, and not theft, as stated by other posters. Be sure to read all ToC in every site you play in.

I agree with you, I chose one big room myself. For me, the risk of variance is preferable to the risk of closing the room
