In September 2017, I was going to withdraw some of my winnings. They told me I had to make a deposit as my Credit Card info was old in order to have a valid Visa on file. I did so with a minimum deposit.
When I tried to withdraw, there was no CC option, so I write Customer service, now they tell me that my Visa does not do credits with gaming sites. I called Visa and they told me that was not true. Again C/S told me that regular reps don't know this citing some rule.
Again I called Visa, read what Stars wrote and they said it was not true. Now they ask me to make an e-check deposit so that they could send money by e-check. I refused citing the previous deposit request and asked that they send me a cheque. They replied they no longer do that.
I asked them to stop giving me the run around as I had a stroke a year ago and am not to have any stress they are giving me. Guess what happened next, I get an e-mail about responsible gaming and that my account has been temporarily suspended.
They sent me some questions to answer and I did so sarcastically.
Next they send me a request to read sections that deal with playing poker responsibly and the terms and conditions. I responded by telling them that those questions have nothing to do with me and that I already agreed to the terms when I joined. I told them to fix that , they need to fire that staff. As they were the ones causing the stress. They also asked me to attach a copy of my driver's license or passport to have my account re instated along with some conditions for my re in-statement to which I responded no way in hell. I now decide to withdraw all my money.
Their response was that I have to answer the questions, I told them to send my Money as well as delete my account with all my personal information. Their response was that the account was deleted and that the information will remain should I want to play there again. My response was to delete my info as I have no intention to ever play there again.
Their response was that their gaming license requires them to keep my info for six years.
I asked my son in law who plays at Stars if he ever withdrew money there and how. He responded on his Credit Card which ironically was with the same bank as mine.
I don't trust the integrity of the organization one bit. Has anyone had a similar experience and if so how did you solve it
