What are you talking about Joe? Wrong again? When was I ever wrong the first time?
OK, for live play yes, folding speed does help you establish your image in such and such a way. But online I don't put as much importance on it.
Sometimes when I'm eating, busy with work, ect, I play slow at times. It's just a very unreliable read, to say that because someone took so long to call, or took so long to fold, ect, that they area playing in such and such a way.
People have slow connections, someone just called them, had to go to the bathroom, ect, numerous reasons for slow fold. It's just not that significant part of online poker. This shouldn't be something you're considering to do all the time, to make it seem like you have an awesome hand that you're laying down. The other person might care less that you're taking so much time, for all you know he could be watching a movie while playing and not even paying attention.
I just don't think that this is relevant online, as much as it is live. I just put use as much time as I need to make decisions, longer for tough ones, shorter for easy ones, no need to put on a show. Live play it does matter, online, not so much.
