odds x 4 = % of hitting on turn or river after flop
odds x 2 + 2 = % of hitting from turn to river (>5 outs)
odds x 2 + 1 = % of hitting from turn to river (<5 outs)
All approx. get messed up >10 outs however, so you can just learn common "draws" like 12 or 15 outs etc)
Then just learn things like odds of a set filling up (turn outs x 2 + river outs x 2 is a good approx. for situations where your outs change from flop to turn...ie. in set to fill up situation you have 7 outs on the flop to turn and 10 outs (if you miss) from the turn to river to fill up = 34% = very close approx.) and other common situations you encounter.
