Can someone tell what the odds of the same person hitting quads in a tournament 3 times (2 back to back and then skip a hand and hit quads the next hand)?

Don't know the odds, but it seemed like folks were hitting about that often one weekend I spent playing a bunch of hands on Hollywood Poker a good while back. I counted seeing quads (either my own or someone else at my table) at least 16 or 17 times that weekend. Just guessing it was over the course of maybe 1500-2000 hands. Pretty sure that has to be an anomaly.

I didn't think it was normal. It didn't happen to me but in a tournament for feeder that my husband was playing on Ultimatebet it happened. It just happened to be the low man and I believe (not postive) that he came back and won the tournament.

Omaha freerolls

Does anyone know if any web has Omaha freeroll tournaments? I know Ultimatebet doesn't. They have a few Omaha cash tournaments. I know you can play on the free game side but there are no tournaments for Omaha. Only holdem. I am just learning the game of Omaha and enjoy quite well but would like to play more tournaments without having to play the cash site.;)

The chance to hit quads are about 200:1 before the deal. As far as 3x in a row.. I think 8,000,000:1 (200 to the power of 3).

I could be wrong about those odds. But that's what I'm figuring.

Just found a site that had this....

Four of a Kind: A Poker Hand where four cards of the same value (e.g.: 8, 8, 8, 8; or Queen, Queen, Queen, Queen). The Poker odds of getting four of a kind is 1 in 4,165.00.

That translates to 72,251,192,125:1 for three in a row. That's 72+ billion to one. You have much better odds of winning the lottery.

I'm still trying to write all the zeros for a game I played where 3 players on the FT all hit sets on the flop. I'll get to this one soon, but I know it has about 999,000 zeros.

You want to hear crazy? A friend was on FT playing a .25/.50 ring game a year or so ago. He and two others at the table had roughly tripled their $50 over some time and had rarely been in a hand together. Then it happened. He picks up AA. A couple raises ahead of him and he repops big. Original raiser comes along as do the two others with big stacks. Flop AKQ. All sorts of fireworks ensue as all three big stacks end up all in. Cards turn up to reveal AA v. KK v. QQ. Turn is a 2. River is a 2. My friend rakes a $450ish pot in a .25/.50 game.
